That makes me want to see the movie more than the trailer does, for some reason.

I wonder if some Universities should ask Pixar to do some commercials for them because this is so good.It makes me wish it was real.

Some new hi-res promo pics have been released of some other characters and student IDs.

...Randy Boggs? Gees, with that name and look, he seems like the kind of guy who'd blush cutely while sharing cookies. Which is weird because aside from the cupcakes and slippers, he doesn't seem as cuddly in the footage we've seen.

Which makes sense.

I don't know about oscar, but it does have Pixar written on it. I guess that's the same thing though.

Don't encourage them. Remember, we've also got Frozen this year.

 Love it.

In all seriousness, I don't think this will win the Oscar unless it gets Toy Story level reviews and turns out better than Monsters Inc in most peoples' eyes. Looking over at the animated releases of this year, Epic and Frozen seem like the most likely contenders. Maybe even The Croods, too.

I honestly can't see Frozen winning an oscar next year, knowing Tangled didn't win one. Tangled should of won Best Song but lost that to Pixar, plus Tangled wasn't even nominated for Best Animated film! Frozen's got it's work cut out for it. I see now why Disney is keeping it under raps!

In the animation branch's defense, they were only given slots in the Animated Feature category that year. As much as I love Tangled, the three films they chose were incredibly strong, too. If that was a five nominee year, Tangled and Despicable Me probably would have been included.

Considering this is another year like 2011 that's littered with sequels, I can see them gravitating towards more original, non-sequel fare like The Croods, Ernest & Celestine and Epic. If Frozen truly delivers, I don't see how they can't nominate it.

So I'm guessing Celia (Jennifer Tilly) isn't in this?

Not that I would've liked for her and Mike to have met in college, but I wouldn't have thought Mike and Sully would've went to college with Randall either. Are there going to be any female characters in this movie?

Good question! Based on the poster, I'd guess the purple girl monster with the weird buns will play a small part, like helping them with homework or something lame like that, and those cheerleader-like girls in the back probably play even smaller parts.

Dont forget the dean, probably the biggest female role of the movie.
