Disney films that need a ride at Walt Disney World

Post by toplaycool22 »

Well, I'm surprised that Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Tarzan's Treehouse, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, and Pixie Hallow still have not been added to Walt Disney World. But what about Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, The Rescuers, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mulan, The Incredibles, Cars, Enchanted, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and maybe now Brave, Frankenweenie, and Wreck It Ralph? Can't they make those films into some kind of attraction at Disney world?

I can see Tangled becoming more involved in the park in the next few years; especially judging by how quick her tower went up in pretty much all parks. Maybe either an interactive show, or Mermaid style dark ride...

Pixie Hollow is a must for me, I think so much imagination could be put into a project like that. Especially now as the film have gained so much momentum, Disney must have noticed.

I'd like to see something of TRON at either Epcot of Hollywood Studios.

^ InsideTheMagic made up this "TRON Track" that can be used on Epcot's Test Track 2.0:

I think it fits great. It should've been converted into a full out TRON ride...

And to add to my previous comment; maybe have a bit more focus on Disney, rather than Disney/Pixar is Disneyland Paris .... there is now way too much of the latter.

I'd really love to see attractions of Treasure Planet or TRON in Tomorrowland at MK. Personally, I think MK's Tomorrowland sucks. The only ride worth going on is Space Mountain, and it's so jerky, it gives me a headache/neckache combo in 30 seconds flat. The Stitch ride really needs to go, and Disney should use one of their own properties there.

I'd also like to see Atlantis, The Jungle Book, Mulan, or even Tarzan get used in Adventureland. I really don't see why Adventureland needs Aladdin's Magic Carpets when Fantasyland has tons of Dumbos doing the same thing. Something more inventive for the little kiddos should go there.

That's off the top of my head for MK. I shall give more thought to this. It's fun. :)

Do you think Oz will maybe have a presence in the Studio parks ? Considering they have the sequel and the prequel...or is that too close to MGM/Warner Bros for comfort ... ?

Hmmm, that's an interesting thought. I think it depends on the success of the film. I can't really see it becoming a whole land, but if it's popular, I can defintely see Disney testing the waters with something along the lines of ElecTRONica or Mad T-Party. I don't think Disney would mind that it's close to MGM. After all, they still have a Wizard of Oz section in the Great American Movie Ride.
