I met XxhplinkxX on monday and we had awesome time. When we went to Midtown Comic store in Grand Central I brought these two statues

I went in for free since I work at the booth there representing my school.

Nah, that was mostly in the panel screenings which was underfloor. I was mostly in the main building/show.

I´m doing the Eaglemoss DC Superhero Collection.

This a collection of lead figures.

I was on vacations in my country and when arrived my friend surprised me this because she knew how much I love DC.

She said that it would be her doing the collection (News Stand) because she thought they were only a few.

Those few turned out to be 50. But in reality those 50 were the ones released in Spain. In truth the collection is 120 regular figures (3 inches) plus 19 Specials/Mega Specials (biiger, bulkier more detailed figures).

So far I have 74 regulars and 5 Specials.

...long way to go.

But the figures are great: big enough, lots of details and the lead jus do it for the collection.

Got a new Statue the other day.

So I was able to get all my Bowen Marvel Statues together for a picture. Here's all the ones I have:

If I may ask, do you have a special room for all your art supplies? Looks really neat. The 'trays', for lack of a better word, for paper and drawings is definitely good to have for organizing and storing artwork.

I really hope to move to a bigger place so I can get a drawing table and get back into illustrating. It's frustrating not having room for it.

Oh and congrats on your latest addition.

Well my art studio is just small section in the basement. Mike(Duster) and Tim(princephillipfan) been to it and saw it. When I do get my own place though I will have a separate room for my art work place. For now this will do.



What I have is the metal cabinet which is where I store some artwork I might finish or scrap.

below is the copic markers

then the drawing table as you see.

the art supplies table is next and underneath it is some big books.

table next to that is my lightbox where I trace my drawing to give a cleaner look.

then I have another table. that's where I keep many of my concept ideas in. underneath it is bunch of sketchbooks and drawing pads.

then finally the last table is my computer space. It has the computer which is where i'm typing this to you on, a scanner, printer and far left is J.Scott Campbell folder of his work so I can use as reference influence.
Beneath this table is two file cabinets that I keep reference images that i print out and a long box that has some comics in.

outside my studio is a book shelf with my anime dvds and art books(for influence and such)

Went to NYCC last weekend and bought 3 new statues:

Psylocke- This is is now rare and hard to find. So lucky to find it and buy it.




Black Widow- I had another one they done but it's not as greatly made is this one I got.




And last but not least, I got Dr. Doom. This baby is so fucking awesome.
