Blu-rays now in the Wal-Mart $5 bin..............

Post by dvdjunkie »

Don't how often you are at your local Wal-Mart, but today I was in two of our eight Wal-Marts and found that the $5 bins were chock full of a lot of Blu-ray titles.

Tites included are V.I. Warshovski, Baby: The Secret of a Lost Legend, Another Stakeout, Rush Hour, and lots, lots more.

Check 'em out. I am planning on getting to all eight of our Wal-Marts this weekend and see what I can pick up.

Need to go to Walmart and check their bluray display. Last week I saw Transfomers (Walmart Exclusive) Blu-ray for $5.00 was so close to buy it.

I love Baby: The Secret of a Lost Legend! I thought it was a Best Buy exclusive. I saw the blu-ray there a while back for $4. I have the dvd which has terrible picture quality.

Saved a lot of money this year filling out Christmas wishlists for DVD's and Blu-rays, especially the Blu-rays.

Picked up over 20 titles for family and friends and didn't pay more than $5 a piece for any one of them.

Hope the $5 Blu-rays weren't just a holiday thing. It would be nice to have them all year.

I was in Wal-Mart in November and they had a $7.88 Blu ray bin.

Great price but it's movie-edtion only. No bonus features at all just like a Redbox rental.

Most of the $5 Blu-rays at Wal-Mart did not originally come with extras, and I don't know what you are saying about Red Box. They get the same movies to rent that we can go out and buy. I know that Red Box rental of "Baby Secret of the Lost Legend" has no extras, because neither did the store purchase.

Just Sayin'.

I don't rent movies as a rule, but when someone says something like this I have to check it out, and I am happy to say you are totally off-base and you aren't correct with your assumptions.

Haha what the hell. He's actually correct. Sure, maybe not in the case of that particular movie, but most new releases get a "barebones" rental version that you rent at Red Box, while the actual retail version has more to it. I've even seen some movies where the actual disc itself has "RENTAL ONLY. NOT FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE" printed directly on the disc.
