No, Miss Universe (another Aussie) gets the crown for a year, and I want my "funniest member" or whatever it was for a year too...

Then, next year, I can cast bitchy comments about all the other nominees...

And that's a BAD thing?

Don't worry...the masses are turning against me.

 Too funny. Yeah, I kinda agree with you- "of the year" has to mean something, doesn't it? lol

The masses? Nah!

Congratulations on everyone who won, even Tangela. :) I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to vote for this years award.

Nice work awallaceunc and Luke.

Can someone nominate "MMBoy's Unrated ShowGirls V.I.P Edition Review!" as the most controversial thread / post for next year. It's controversial thanks to MMBoy's and my posts. Of course, MMBoy and I can't nominate the thread so someone else will have to.

I still think that the "Who Reads the bible?" thread is a shoe-in for next year, but still a long way to go yet.

The SHowgirls thread needs more people with conviction. "I think the exposure of tits is THE ONLY way to make a film" etc... :P

Yeah, the Bible thread and the TV Guardian thread are the big contenders from '04 thus far, imo. Showgirls may garner some noms, too. There's still 9 months to go, though, so who knows how much we'll yell at each other between now and then.

Oh yeah, the thread about "What are you reading now" is memorable. I haven't read that thread in ages. It's an interesting thread.

2nd edit: I think awallaceunc was refering to "Do you read the Bible?". Sorry, I was confused. Both threads are really interesting and fun to read.

I'll do a search for the "TV Guardian" thread because I haven't seen it before.

Update: I did a search for "TV Guardian", but the search didn't return any results. Does anyone have a link to it? Thanks.

Lol, I was wondering why this was bumped! I thought it had been a year already, lol!

Yeah, I would've nominated the TV Guardian one. Starion, I'm surprised you didn't find it right away:

http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... v+guardian

It didn't get too ugly, but it was a heated debate on censoring and all that. It is very long b/c everyone's posts are so long, but I think it would be an interesting read to see what board members' opinions on Censoring as far as directors, societies, home, etc.

Well, we COULD use this thread to make a note of the obvious threads as we come across them to be nominated for next year?

Just a thought...

I think we should also add new categories:

- Most Insane

- Most Naked While Posting

- Most Amusing Naked While Posting

- Most Likely to Use the Word 'Cheese' or 'Cow' in a Sentence

- A Memorial Award for Most Missed Former Poster
