Is it just me or does the green blob look like the fluffs from Don Herzfeldt's cartoons?

I'm not familiar with Herzfeldt's cartoons, but I noticed that a Cartoon Brew reader wrote this in the comments too.
Is the Herzfeldt character the one in your new avatar?

Yes it is. It was from another site, but I had to edit it down to get it to fit on this site.
