The Make Mine Music may or may not result in a victory, but consider that what has been removed is "gunplay" and consider some of the cases that have (or have threatened) to have been taken to US courts recently... computer games, violent movies, etc. If anything it's bad publicity "Disney is releasing something people think they have to go to court over? How could they?"

Its the threat and the possibility just as much as the actual court case.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Indeed. However, I think there is an overwhelming attitude, at least in America, that people are sue-happy, and that Disney is often, er, picked on, for lack of a better term. I don't really think ignoring the people, even if they were to bring a lawsuit (and as I said before, if they even actually filed it, I don't see it going far), would create too big a PR fiasco.

Now if you wanna talk lawsuits and bad PR, Disney better fix Big Thunder Mountain in a HURRY! :P
