I have a confession to make . . .

Post by jambo*rafiki »

This is hard to tell you. I know you've all trusted me and discussed many things with me over the months that I've belonged to this wonderful site. But something has been weighing on my conscience and I have to admit it . . .

 I don't collect Disney DVDs! In fact, I don't collect DVDs at all! I own but a few, and my DVD player is largely underused. You see, I don't have much money, and when I make entertainment-related purchases they are usually music-related. The Disney movies I do own are on VHS, and I'm quite happy with them.
I am truly sorry if I misled any of you, and I hope you can forgive me.
Sincerely,
jambo*rafiki

Well you like Disney, don't you? and that's all you need :) I don't own lots and lots of Disney DVD's (they are growing slowly) so please don't feel inadequate (or whatever) to be posting if you don't have the money to buy DVD!

Oh woe is me, that I should be deceived so! And woe is you, for being the deceiver! The end has come! The end has come!

*in case no one could tell, the above was completely sarcastic*

I don't think anyone cares that you don't own any DVDs. It's not a big deal. Like deathie mouse said, liking Disney is all that matters. Who cares about a bunch of shiny discs?

Did someone say shiny? Ooooh my precious.....

 @ Satoshi

Jambo, no worries! I was a fan of Disney looooong before the DVD bug hit me. Your input here is still every bit as valuable. :)

Don't worry-I've been posting since last June, but didn't get a DVD player until Christmas. And I still only have 7 Disney DVD's.

Shame on you! :P Your doom will fall from the sky! You will be cursed! And your children cursed! And your children's children cursed! And so on and so forth until the end of time!
:D

Well, actually, I'm not much of a collector, either. But, I still love Disney, and that's all that really matters, right? :)

Big deal you don't collect Disney DVD's as long as you like Disney.
I started to collect Disney DVD's last year and still enjoy it as a hobby.
Jambo*rafiki you could start with a collection by at least on Disney DVD a day or join the Disney Club to get deals on your DVD's.
I'm not mad at you and we are still friends ok.
As long as you doesn’t own Full screen DVD's, you are still cool!!! :D

I have no problem with the fact that you don't own as much DVD's. I do think that being a liar is a problem.

Maybe I read that wrong, but I think her comments were directed to jambo*rafiki, which was the initial subject of the thread. Though reyquila, if I did read that correctly, I don't think jambo exactly lied, and if she did, it wasn't to you. Play nice. :)
