Who Framed Roger Rabbit in 3-D Coming to Theaters?

Hi everyone,

As we both know, Who Framed Roger Rabbit will be making its Blu-Ray debut in time for the films 25th anniversary in 2013.

Wikipedia is reporting, additionally, that Disney announced after the 3-d Re-Release of The Lion King that Who Framed Roger Rabbit will be re-released in 3-D on November 22, 2013.

Knowing its reputation for false information, I HOPE its true, but I DOUBT it; any confirmation about this will be great in advance.

If the 3-d Re-Release of Roger Rabbit IS true, Count Me IN on Day ONE!!!

Disney hasn't announced it and it's on Wikipedia, so I'm betting some wishful fan has edited the page.

If a 3D re-release is coming, Disney will announce it. Plain and simple.

Yeah what the guys above have said. It's most likely been edited by a fan since anybody can manipulate that page.

It would be cool to see it in the Cinemas though.

When I vented about the lack of interest within Disney wanting to make more 2D movies you called my post " The most dumbest thing you have ever read " and when another newbie coming in being hopeful about something, you get all huffy that not everybody knows how Wiki works.

Because wishing ill will towards a movie that was produced by talented, hard working people that are already under enough stress from both the expectations of the company and the fanboys that complain about their work isn't one of the dumbest things one will ever say. I get that you are somehow upset that Disney may be moving away, but spewing biased hatred towards any of their products will not make the problem go away. You don't have to like the movie if you don't care for it, but to condemn it is just beyond ridiculous.

And based on the other comments you have gotten from other people, I am certainly not the only one with the same mentality.

As for my post on this thread, I do apologize to the creator of this thread, since people do forget or do not know that Wikipedia pages can be changed to provide false information. So to daniel, I apologize.

Well to be honest I did find it to be really offensive. I mean how would you feel if somebody you said was the dumbest thing you have ever read ? I feel like it was a huge personal attack.

But we've both said sorry now. So yeah.

Q: Would you consider doing 3-D post-conversion on any of your earlier films?

Robert Zemeckis: The only one is "Roger Rabbit," because you could really pull the animation out as a separate element. It would be very spectacular 3-D. As far as converting, the "Back to the Future" films... I don't see the point in that. But they did a test on "Roger" back in 2006, somewhere around then, and it looks really great.
