If you are madly devoted to either side, you have been tricked into playing their game. The Dems seem less evil than most Republicans, I'll admit, but really they are all being bought off. Our representatives are all bought and paid for and our government has been corrupted by those with money and power in order to get even more money and power... on a global scale. Ah election time, my least favorite time to be a mod. I think this go around, I'm just going to sit back and wait for the train to derail, instead of trying to keep it on track. It's already been pointed out by ajmrowland where this thread is headed. So, there is no need for me to be repetitive. Instead, I will just wait until the point of no return occurs, then I will lock the thread. I wonder how much longer it will be before that happens... a day, a week, two weeks? We all know this thread won't make it until election day. Then again, you all might get your act together just to spite me and prove me wrong.

Saying things like this makes it hard to believe that you're not biased. You're also not considering the fact that many people here vote Democrat (not me) and that you're directly attacking them.

Calling the president names isn't going to win anyone over to your side, neither will attacking the people on these forums like you have above. What you need to do is present facts and argue against or for certain policies / positions. Only then can you sway people.

Lex Luthor, cheats, he lies, he's a kiss up, he has a huge ego, he's insanely rich, he puts on an act that he's a changed man, while behind closed doors he's a power hungry person who doesn't care about anyone but himself, even though he'll put up an act that he's for Americans and understands people. He'll twist peoples words, buys people off, flip flops his mind and decision if it depending on what would benefit Lex Luthor for the moment. He'll also get people that should be smart or know better than to trust him that work for him.

I'd HATE to join in on this loathsome conversation (if you even want to call it that), but I'd just like to chime in and say that everything said here pretty much could be applied to Obama too...

He cheats, lies, kisses up, has a huge ego (what politician doesn't have all this). And come on, Obama constantly uses his history as an act.
Another thing I don't understand is why people use the fact that Romney is wealthy as a negative. He knows how to manage money.. I'd say that's a positive right now.

Most of the people I *personally* have talked to have only given selfish reasons as to why they'd vote for Obama, and what Obama will do or give to them - and most of the people who said they'd vote Romney gave reasons for what he'd do for the country as a whole and its future. By no means am I saying this is universal or anything, it's just something I found interesting.

Should I really be responding in this thread, no. I admit I don't know enough to have a political discussion. Just throwing out some things I noticed.

They don't. The negative is the he favors the upper class and panders to the rich while screwing the working class in the process. Clearly, you haven't been paying attention to the political scene nor to the countless evidence that have posted in this thread.

That's not only untrue but absurd as well. Is wanting to find a job selfish? Is wanting equal rights selfish? Don't these issues extend to a national level and not just a personal one?

Moving on, It's not Romney's wealth that's the issue, the issue is he has god only knows how much money in the cayman islands. I thought that kinda thing was frowned upon (and illegal i think), being what sounds like to me as an offshore banking account.

Also, I don't think we know who the real Mitt Romney is. Or even Mitt Romney doesn't know who Mitt Romney Is. That is the scary part, if he's in Illinois at a state fair, he'd be in a hot dog contest and say he does this religiously. Then in another state he'd claim hot dogs are disgusting, but moonshine is great, then he'd say in another town how he always eats Buffalo Testicles and eats them and says yummy.

He keeps changing, it's like he's a Ditto from Pokemon. He's got so many persona and versions that make a Ken Doll look like he has one outfit and personality

You need to really get your vision cleared up for the near future. Big government has never solved any problems. Comparing Mitt Romney to Lex Luthor is very childish, and if you look at your description you have nailed Obama to the proverbial cross. That desciption fits Obama exactly to the tee.


I said I wouldn't be back here until after the election, but this is something I just have to get off my chest regarding what is happening in front of our very eyes.

What makes sense to you? To lash out at a private citizen for disagreeing with the policies of our federal government or to sit aside and allow our government confiscate large portions of the legal income of hard working people to fund an ever growing bureaucracy?

I have no problem with the Koch brothers speaking up, just like I have no problem with George Soros speaking his mind. However, I have a HUGE problem when the OSHA shuts down farmers or the EPA kills coal mines because of new choking regulations that kill jobs and the economy. The Federal Government has gotten too big and too powerful.

Hope you understand what is being said here. And remember on November 6th - We Need A Leader, NOT a ruler!!

For those who need more fodder for the campaign, this is exactly what priorities should NOT be for OBaMao:
