One of the bonus features previewed on youtube involved a discussion of the Cinderella Castle at WDW, but where is it on the disc? Is it Seond Screen or has it been dropped altogether?

We have art (Cinderella as she appears on the cover) on the Blu-ray disc released in Norway. The DVD is grey though.

What's really upsetting for me is that this will probably be the final restoration this film ever receives. The errors present, however minor or major, will most likely be permanent and future Disney employees will probably never be aware that such issues exist.

that`s not entirely true. As new preservation technology continues to develop, restorations as they currently stand will be cheaper to master and Disney may one day actually make the corrections. It`ll be a while, but there`s enough incentive to have a proper representation of the film as the dislike for this restoration builds up. At worst, we`ll have a more accurate one in time for the films 100th anniversary, when we`re all upwards of middle-aged.

I hope so.

Even though this generation screws up, there might come a time when people do have the right interest and technology to approach the original film.

Did anyone else get the trilogy "jewelry box" package? Mine didn't come with a DMR points code.

I was being dumb. Thank you!

I find it funny that the trilogy is worth 150 just like the three disc blu ray is. And The Avengers 3D Blu Ray package is worth 200. How does that make sense?

It makes sense, cuz they never bothered to make special codes for the trilogy boxset and 3D is worth more.

Hm.. what do you mean? The trilogy is $89.99 and the 3D is $59.99. When The Lion King trilogy was released, it was 450 points, wasn't it? It is in my DMR. There may have been a promo, but it was at least 300 points.

Blu-ray 3D is worth more to the studio. Aka, they focus more attention on it.

The Rescuers Lost Chords download is cheaper at www.disneymovierewards.com for only $4! Amazon has it for $6.99

I watched Cinderella last night :D

It was very different to my first viewing, where I felt Cinderella was displaying sighs of depression, and the mice were a lot more annoying and took too much time.

To be honest I didn't notice any of the restoration errors. I was even looking for them too. You just can't see them in motion. I too would rate the video 5 Stars.

The only thing I didn't like were that her wedding dress was grey.
And her eyes, they always looked dead! But that's not a restoration error, that's just how they made her.

The color thing with Lady Tremaine's headpiece is noticeable, but other than that and the other altered colors, I agree. I'd have to give about 4 stars to the video presentation overall, with points off for the errors.

I wasn't sure what I was looking for when I was watching out for the headpiece. I was staring at it and thought it looked fine - I'd clearly forgotten how it was supposed to look

I was so glad that her hair was indeed not blonde, and her dress was indeed silver. They appear blue and blonde every now and then under different lighting. Looking at screenshots alone gives you the impression they are always blue/blonde to match the Disney Princess look.
