How nice of them to reduce the price from 40 dollars to pultry $30.00 for a one disc blu-ray with recycled DVD features and most likely no disc art. I think I'll be sticking to my Platinum edition unless this improves the restoration, which it won't.

Wrong Peter Pan. This Peter Pan is live action.

But it lists Buena Vista Home Entertainment as the studio, Could that live action cover art be just a mistake? :?

The picture is not from a movie at all, but a poster from a broadway musical. So yeah, it is a mistake.

EDIT: Oh, didn't see the 'DVD' logo. Well, I think it is pretty safe to say, that Wal Mart would not release an exclusive set for this live recording, so I still think it's a mistake.

Just got an email from Amazon stating that Pete's Dragon BD has been delayed a fortnight, now being released on October 16.

After The Great Mouse Detective also being delayed, I wonder if this one faced manufacturing issues too.

Both titles are still slated to be released next monday in Australia.

I wonder what the fault could've been.

IIRC for The Great Mouse Detective was delayed in the States due to a manufacturing defect, if this is the same I'd imagine it shouldn't impact the Aus release, as we should receive different pressings.

I'm getting the Great Mouse Detective Blu Ray for $7 thanks to some Big W Online promotional vouchers! It's almost like being in the US and having coupons and stuff.

Disney Benelux released 101 dalmatians and Cinderella few days ago on Bluray here. The releases are a new low-point in history for Disney. No slipcases, no combo pack, still same price, no commercials to promote the release. I mean does Disney even want their products to be sold :(
Both movies and upcoming to be released are masterpieces and modern Disney treats them like rubbish.

Really hate it and I'm definitely not buying anymore movies here in the Netherlands.

There were a few commercials, but yeah... These releases STINK. Not to mention the covers were printed for thin cases but they were slapped onto thick cases, making the spine look ridiculous. Definitely an All-Time low for Disney. Absolutely pathetic.

I ordered The Rescuers double bluray a few days ago on Ebay...already received it today :) Sadly there are no dutch subtitles, but its region free and it looks great... een tip dus :)

Even better is that the slipcovers are same size as the dutch cases :) so it's actually possible to buy the slipcases only...
