So when released alone, C2 and C3 won't be packaged together? There'll be a single case/disc for C2 and single disc/case for C3?

They were released about six months after the trilogy pack, and no, they weren't packaged together.
On a slightly more positive note, at least for those in the UK that are into the Disney Movie Rewards scheme: I just saw an ad on Disney UK's website that states that you can get double points for Cinderella until 10th September.
A Collector's Edition of the soundtrack will be released, details below:
Rediscover the timeless story, the memorable music, and unforgettable characters-now more enchanting than ever! Cinderella has faith her dreams of a better life will come true. With help from her loyal mice friends and a wave of her Fairy Godmother's wand, Cinderella's rags are magically turned into a glorious gown, and off she goes to the Royal Ball. But when the clock strikes midnight, the spell is broken, leaving only a single glass slipper... the only key to the ultimate fairy-tale ending!
This beautiful collector's edition features the original soundtrack plus 'Lost Chords' tracks which consist of actual demo recordings that were not included in previous releases as well as new recordings of those demos featuring full orchestration and mastering as if they would have been included in original films. Enjoy 24 tracks of one of Disney's most revered Princesses.

Hey Mooks!
I'm almost sure C2 and C3 will be released separately as a 2 Movie Collection on one Blu-ray disc. I know this because I received the 3 Movie pack Blu-ray in the mail yesterday, and it's made up of only 2 discs - the last housing both sequels. The coverart used on the sequels disc indicates that it will not need to be amended once they are released on their own.
Also, don't expect the Cinderella Diamond Edition to be slipcovered. Mine wasn't.

Cinderella II and Cinderella III are not going to be released separately from each other, they will be on the same Blu-Ray.
So to get the trilogy, you will need to buy Cinderella + Cinderella II/III Bundle, or the full trilogy box set.

Thanks for the info, Julian, it clarifies things a lot. I guess my best (and cheapest) option is getting the trilogy pack. And I don't care about slipcovers anyway, so no worries for me there .

What a lousy cover! 24 tracks is cool though, the CD I have (from the Platinum Edition DVD release era) is only 14 tracks so that's 10 tracks of extra goodies!
January 6, 2009 - Met Stephen Schwartz

It doesn't bother me if they are released together or separate; just seems odd that Disney aren't thinking of cashing in a making more money and releasing them individually like The Lion King and Beauty & the Beast were ?
Or, conspiracy theory here; are they trying to dial down part II, and want it overshadowed by part III. The trailer shown above basically does that. Maybe it is Disney just trying to ignore it by not giving the film its own release.
I think this is actually a beautiful cover....are dare I say it, original artwork ?
That is a grrrrreat cover indeed, and it's from the French poster they made when they actually released the restored version of the film to theatres, a little bit in the months leading up to the DVD release, only in some countries, such as France.

Ohhh you already knew. Sorry. It sounded like you asked if it was an original artwork I thought you didn't know where it was from. You're lucky to have that as a big poster! And I never knew you lived in France!
