The Story Of The First Christmas Snow 10/2/12

Post by David S. »

I was just surfing Amazon for unrealeased titles that have long been on my wish-list and see that the classic stop-motion holiday special The First Christmas: The Story Of The First Christmas Snow, by Rankin/Bass, is FINALLY being released by Warners on October 2!

With this realease, all 18 of the classic Rankin/Bass Christmas specials will finally be available on DVD (although 2, The Life and Adventures Of Santa Claus and The Little Drummer Boy Book 2 are only available via Warner Archives burn on demand program for now).

Thankfully, First Christmas Snow, which stars the voice of Angela Lansbury, will be available on retail DVD. Here is some artwork and an Amazon link:

I was hoping this would be on blu-ray, but other than that slight are you telling me that Angela Lansbury's character isn't on the cover/back art at all for this realease?! How....odd.
I find you pompous, judgemental, and completely self-absorbed.........would you be my friend?
