Has Disney become THAT lazy that they don't even make trailers for the upcoming Blu Ray trailers?
There weren't for Home on the Range, Tarzan or Treasure Planet, right?
Where are the ones for The Great Mouse Detective and Brother Bear?
...even Aladdin at this point.
Where are the trailers for the Blu Ray releases?
Aladdin and Brother Bear haven't been given release dates yet (nor has Atlantis, which was announced at the same time as Brother Bear), but I would expect a trailer for Aladdin perhaps on the upcoming August releases, or at the very least on the Cinderella Diamond Edition. Tarzan hasn't been scheduled for release in the US at this point either (and the quality of what was released in Europe has been largely criticised from what I've read), so I can understand why they haven't bothered advertising that either.
It seems like they are more eager to promote their well-known, much-loved family classics (eg. The Rescuers, The Aristocats) as opposed to their more recent, less successful films (and as it is, HotR and Treasure Planet are basically re-releases of the old DVDs, and as they are CAPS films Disney can't really boast about "all-new restorations" like they can with older films). Though The Great Mouse Detective, I am honestly clueless about. I would have expected something.

Didn't know The Aristocats was THAT beloved.
...and the same goes for The Rescuers/Down Under.
Still, didn't we get a trailer for Pocahontas when it was just released in Europe?
And not having a trailer for Tarzan but yet so for Pocahontas is beyond me?
PS
The quality of the movies maybe questionable (Home on the Range and Treasure Planet) but they are still Disney films. Is not like a trailer is that hard to do.

It makes perfect sense to me. Pocahontas has had a US release date for months, hence why they have released trailers for it. Tarzan may have been released in some international markets, but as it has no release date in the US I am not really sure why you think they will release a trailer for it? Yes, Pocahontas was announced for the States around the same time it was released overseas, but it doesn't automatically mean the same for Tarzan.DC Fan wrote: Still, didn't we get a trailer for Pocahontas when it was just released in Europe?

No I did not mean that all. I meant judging from the effort put into the Tarzan release, it is no surprise that they never bothered with a trailer for it.Scamander wrote:A trailer for Aladdin has been rated in the UK and Germany in April.
@Ivan: So you think Disney should only make trailers for their US releases?
