Hidalgo

Post by Prince Adam »

Saw the movie last night and it's perfect! I loved everything about it, and I can't wait for a 2-Disc release of this!

Warning: if you're planning on seeing this movie because you love horses, think again. Yes, it has some beautiful shots of the animals, but there are some very brutal scenes. So, if you don't want to see horses getting hurt, close your eyes for a good part of this.

Eh, I'm reluctantly wanting to move this to off-topic. After all, it's one of those Touchstone films!

Glad to hear you liked it. Reviews have been mostly unfavorable.

I have no interest in seeing this one. I'm glad Disney moved it to Touchstone.

Yes, we know that movies that sell more MUST be better than those that don't sell as much. I saw Hidalgo for free. I had some free movie pass thing and figured I'd better use it for a movie that I'd rather not pay for so I used it for Hidalgo and it turned out to not be as bad as I was expecting. I also saw Around the World in 80 Days for free and it too was not so bad. Not spectacular but not as bad as everybody was making it out to seem.
