Yeah, here's a thread that Matty-Mouse started about this a little while back.

Nice avatar, by the way. Very hypnotic. @_@

Thanks For The Info

Post by Disney Guru »

Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information I have personally always hated the Looney Tunes and thought they were to Violent and Immature but this is great news for anybody who does like them.

It is people like you who make this website great 8) Keep up the good work!

Vial creatures? If by vial you mean they come from ink and paint vials, you are absolutely right!

Looney Tunes offends you? Beyond Doris Day is there anything that doesn't offend you?

Are you just seeking attention now? Why even comment if you don't like them? If you don't like them, cool. But why make a comment like "Violent and Immature " and not follow it up?

More to the point: does a thought come into your head that you don't feel the need to share with the rest of the world?

Mind you, there was an epidemic of children dropping 1000 lb anvils on people after watching some toons...

Geez, Loomis, that seemed kind of...rude. I mean, I have my shortcomings at times when it comes to DG and Ms. Day, but I don't flat out offend his likes and dislikes.

I can see where Loomis is coming from. Disney Guru is always telling everybody what he hates. He hates Looney Tunes, he hates the treasured tins and won't buy them, etc. I'm not really sure why he thinks everyone is interested in knowing all of the things he hates. Just my opinion.

Well my opinion  I like BOTH Disney and Looney Tunes :P I grew up watching Disney movies on theaters and Looney Tunes shorts on local TV and now i'm getting drunk on watching all the Disney shorts for the first time in BOTH tin treasures and non-tin treasures  the other night i watched about 80 or 90 Mickey shorts on end. 8)

And I will get the Looney Tunes set when it comes out later this year

I wish animated characters from different companies did some serious crossovers (like comics tend to do) a la Who Framed Roger Rabbit so we could see the different styles and personalities interact but the way things are in studio politics and economies ...

Yes, that was pretty much all I was saying. As for offeneding "likes and dislikes", perhaps I was being petty, but I just read about 5 DG comments in a row where he "hated" something. And then another 5 where he went on about Doris Day. Isn't one Doris Day thread enough, I asks ya? :P

My point was: if you don't like something, don't comment in that thread (particularly when the thread is full of excited people looking forward to something).

Hey Guys I Am Sorry

Post by Disney Guru »

Loomis, Mitch. You guys are all right I shouldn't respond when it is negative sorry I did respond. I am a hypocrite I know. I am just a blooming iddiot. I will stop responding to threads completely since I seem to get this slack from almost everybody. I will only respond when it is positive. Goodbye Folks have a great little game.

I personally love Looney Tunes and can't wait to see the second set of
DVD's to come out, I am also excited for Tom and Jerry since those are some of my all time favorites I am also interested i the Wacky Races because it sounds awful familar but I am not positive it is one I have seen or not.

*************************************************************As far as Disney Guru's opinion goes as well as Loomis's opinion goes I think we need to all kee p in mind that we are all on an open forum which is open to everyone to share their opinon freely. I do not think any of us are doing anyone any good to criticize anyone else's opinion because that is just what it is. If someone does not like something and they would like to comment on that fact I think they should because none of like everything and it is good to hear all sides of a subject. But we don't have to agree on all things. I think it would be great if we could all just agree to disagree on some things and continue posting what we think or feel in any matter we feel it necessary too.
