Why Can't Disney Make A New Mickey Mouse TV Series?

Post by TsWade2 »

Hi,

Please forgive my obsessing, but I just don't understand why can't Disney make a new Mickey Mouse TV series for kids of all ages and kid in our hearts? I think this is unfair that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is more popular than Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse. I think Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse are more successful, but people are f***ing stupid! I'm sick and tired of Disney aiming Mickey Mouse to preschoolers. I think that's wrong and it destroys the personality of Mickey Mouse. I think today kids watch Shake It Up instead of Mickey Mouse are a bunch of idiots. Hell, every Disney Fan hates Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. You guys hate it and you guys know it. They should of make new tv series for Mickey Mouse and friends for kids of all ages and adults. They should of include Horace Horsecollar, Clarice Chipmunk, and if possible Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. Also, the new Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy movie should of move forward but the Disney Executives are chickenshit! I know Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two is coming and I'm very excited for it, but I still can't stand for this. I tried writing a letter to Disney but they refuse to reply.

I'm sorry, I know it annoys you guys, I'm just confused. And yes I have therapy.

If you want Disney to reply you should send them your letters by certified mail with return recepit. Mickey Mouse has been aimed at kids since the mid 1930's so I doubt Disney is going to change that now. I don.t know why you want new Mickey Mouse cartoin when they will be inferior to the stuff that is already available on the Disny Treasure DVDs.

Are you saying Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is going stay on TV forever?

No' I'm not saying that. I didn't even know what the hell Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was until you told me. I'm telling you to buy the Disney treasures if you want good Mickey Mouse cartoons.

TsWade2, if you want to keep discussing this, can't you do it in one of the multiple threads you've already created about this? Must you keep making new ones? It's such a waste.

Just look at how many threads you've created for the same thing:

I Wish Disney Makes a New TV Series of Mickey Mouse

Disney’s long-range plans for Mickey Mouse?

I Wish Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ends already!

Oh, it's not that bad. I watched it yesterday with some little kids. It's cute and kept them engaged.

No, it will. I was having my nightly psychic communication with Walt's frozen head, and he says that he has foreseen that "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" will literally stay on TV forever.

Disney is in the mists of trying to decide where they want to take the Mickey Mouse brand to next so far as new Mickey films, shows, games, and merchandise goes. "Mickey Mouse: Club House" won't be on forever, no show ever is. My guess is within five years it will stop making new episodes at least. In the mean time, there is the supposed Mickey Mouse movie being worked on and the more of a sure thing sequel to "Epic Mickey." I think we can expect Mickey's adventures in video games to just be starting.

As with all things of course, we'll what really is what in time.

my co workers little boy turned 1 a few weeks back, and he has been in love with mickey for about 3 months. if mickey mouse clubhouse means new disney fans are still emerging then let it continue!
i work in retail and we see a lot of young children in every day, and each day we see at least one wearing mickey or minnie shirts, whereas last year it was all lightning mcqueen and buzz [still is, but the number off mickey and minnie is climbing.]

mickey mouse is disney, so as long as he is about in one form or another, i dont see the issue.

I think degraded would be would at this time very much of an understatement.I think at this time they are not even trying to do anything meaningful with everyone's favorite mascot.

What about Epic Mickey? That's the best effort Disney has done to make Mickey more than a mascot, but a character again, in a loooooooooong time.

How abouts, a Mickey Variety Hour special with Justin Bieber and all the other recently discovered young talent singing Hey Mickey the whole time? Sounds just about like something that in this current stage of time the Disney Execs would come up with . . .

And it took another company altogether using mickey to make them realize that, considering EM was inspired loosely by Kingdom Hearts.

I've seen the Biebs be a lot of bad things, but egotistical is not one of them.

Also, Freak? I may not like his music or his star status, but I wouldnt sink so low.....

I have heard that rumor as well, but my gut tells me it is not canceled, just delayed. I get the feeling much thought is being put into where the company wants to take Mickey as we move further into the 21st Century. For now I think the pre-school show and video games are all we'll get till then.
