Definitely disagree there. My cousins and I watched Bambi a lot as little kids, the mom's death barely registered with us. The story doesn't focus on her like the Lion King did with Mufassa. I was much more saddened by that, and even still I think that movie is plenty appropriate for kids. Death is a natural part of life. Not to mention its only implied in Bambi, its never actually shown.Disney Duster wrote:I hope they put a warning before it that the film contains scenes that may be too scary for like, children under 5 or 6 or something. I actually don't think Bambi is good for "young kid's movie" at all, people just think it is because it has cute animals.Sky Syndrome wrote: Oh, the poor kids!Bambi losing his mother and scary dogs tearing through the forest.

I thought it might be interesting to know that Disney Junior played The Hunchback of Notre Dame today.
I was very surprised because the channel is aimed at younger audiences, but the whole movie was played. I am very happy at this because Disney may be caring about this movie again. Ironically, today is the octave of Easter, traditionally known as Quasimodo Sunday.

Why should I bother about Disney DACS being broadcasted on TV if I can watch them anytime I want on dvd?
