Neither could I, but I'm very curious to see it. I'm a big fan of this sort of subject matter, as you might imagine by my webcomic.

The reason you now can't watch the trailer is because Sony has removed it.

However, I've managed to found a working video. You can see the teaser here.

Looks great and, fortunately, not at all like my comic strip (except maybe the bit at the end with the showering skeleton seems like something I might do, ha, but who knows what they were saying), though, I still wish this wasn't about a hotel, ha. Now, people are going to think I'm a copycat, even though my strip has existed for years.

Character design is very attractive.

Animation itself looks stylised. Sort of brings to mind animation from the 1950s when part of a character may be held, and the rest animated.

Don't look half as bad as what I imagined to be, but it won't be the "OMG i wanna see thiz!!!!111`" movie. I'm not gonna lie though, Adam Sandler did do a good impression of Bela Lugosi/Dracula.

I've know about this film for over half a decade now, and it's fun that it is finally happening. Will I see it? I don't know, I've really not been a fan of Sony Animation thus far, but I might give this one a shot on DVD or something. It looks like it might be better then past Sony Animated films.

The animation is great - as expected from Sony - but the story just doesn’t interest me and I’m still not sold on Adam Sandler as Dracula. We’ll just have to see, as I’m a huge fan of Genndy Tartakovsky’s work and am really hoping he pulls it off.

Well, the reviews are in, and it doesn't seem to be good, since there are a couple of reviewers said that the monsters are trying to be hip and there's a farting Frankenstein. WOW! Now, Genndy Tartakovsky is starting join Sony Pictures Animation to "smurf" the idea up! And I thought 20th Century Fox/Blue Sky's Ice Age: Continental Drift was mediocre!

One fart joke and the monsters only want to be hip after the human posing as the cousin of the Frankenstein monster's hand starts his strange new singing/guitar riffing. It's a cute little movie and very funny. Everybody at my screening seemed to like it anyway.

I saw it about a week and a half ago at the Toronto International Film Festival. I saw the second screening rather than the star studded premiere which I'm sure would influence people more.

Hmm, got it. But still, I dunno if I'm gonna see it after all the comments that critics had said about monsters being hip and whatnot.
