I read there was a joke about "The Little Mermaid" and I'm dying to know what it was

Basically Shrek and Fiona are kissing on the beach, a wave comes (covering them for a sec) and Fiona is replaced by a Mermaid. Fiona then comes, grabs the mermaid by the fins and tosses her into the sea.

one more thing Ciaobelli forgot was when Fioana throws the mermaid back into the sea, two great white sharks jump out and attack the mermaid. this reference of course is making fun of the Jaws movies.

another thing: i believe this topic should be in the Off Topic area of this website since Shrek 2 is not a Disney movie.

It wasn't a joke about The Little Mermaid, it was parodying "From Here to Eternity".

but in that scene Ludwig, they also used a mermaid that sort of resembled Ariel from the Disney movie so actually they are parodying the Little Mermaid.

Shrek 2 is great I can't wait to watch Shrek 3 in the near future.
In my opinion Shrek 2 is way better and funnier then Shrek.
I recommend everyone to watch it and buy it on DVD in November.

Interesting take on the 2D-3D situation, but their 'facts' seem a little garbled.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

As Disney Chief Executive Michael Eisner starkly put it: "The 2-D business is coming to an end, just like black and white came to an end."
