That's where you are so wrong. Having been a projectionist for almost 30 years now, I am totally not unemployed because of Digital Theater Presentation. The equipment still needs to be maintained, and the shows need to be started on time, and should a problem arise, which has never happened on my watch, we have to be there to make sure it is taken care of immediately.One of the very sad effects of the digital switchover is that projectionists are finding themselves unemployed
Digital Projection is only as good as the equipment the theater company buys. Cheap equipment means more problems.
