I never liked that cover art.
I think the tiny characters around the title is weird. I'd prefer them not to be there at all.
I also think that Tarzan appears way cartoonier than he is ever in the film, and I would love some more colors in the jungle background than shades of green. The film hardy represents the jungle that way.
I guess, I just hope we end up getting something more updated in the US whenever we get this release.

So it is in English then and does play in Region A? I have no idea of course what extras the US version will have, but if it is anything like this one (which I bet it will be), my 2 disc DVD is not going anywhere!
Thanks for sharing this by the way! I look forward to the US release. This is my favorite Disney film hands down!

Thanks for sharing that! I hope you'll enjoy it for years to come! I like Milojthatch will hold on to the special 2-disc collector set for obvious reasons..Mr.fabulous wrote:@REINIER
thanks for welcoming me and I am happy to join you all , and I bought it from movies store here in the UAE in the middle east
@milojthatch
its region free abc.
When it comes to brains, I got the lion-share,
but when it comes to bruth strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool

This is the same as the Greek version. I don't know why, but sometimes they drop even the audio commentaries over here, so the possibility that you get more extra features is quite big.milojthatch wrote:So it is in English then and does play in Region A? So the menu is not even animated? Is this normal with Disney releases in the middle east?
BTW- these are also the only bonus features, which the bbfc rated recently. Seems like the rest of us won't get more.

yeah, sometimes they are static menus, like on the DVDs. I think you will have more (at least the audio commentary!)Scamander wrote:So the menu is not even animated? Is this normal with Disney releases in the middle east?

When I came to this page and saw the cover art, I thought the TV series was getting a release, ha. Still, could be worse. I had forgotten that this was the VHS cover too (I personally have only owned the 2 disc DVD with the sketch art cover, I think, though maybe I did have the VHS first, as I remember seeing it at my parents' house...).

@Julian Carter
the video and the audio quality are totally perfect I give them 10/10 , and the restoration looks so amazing , its one of the best blu-rays I have ever seen !!!
and about your question , I like to go and buy them from the stores , but I only buy the editions that are for the collectors online , other than that I would rather to go to the stores and yes I do live in a big city l.o.l
