WALT DISNEY WORLD NOW CASTING FOR MERIDA MEET AND GREET CHARACTER
LINK- http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-wal ... ter-19781/Walt Disney World has issued casting calls for Princess Merida, the heroine that will be featured in Disney/Pixar’s Brave which opens in theaters nationwide on June 22, 2012. Expected to begin appearing at Soundstage 4 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (where the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian exhibit was formerly housed) in May, Merida will become the first face meet and greet character representing a Disney/Pixar property within the Disney Parks.
According to the casting notice, she will be 5’4″ – 5’6″ in height and is described as ‘impetuous, rough and tumble, strong-willed, determined and playful.’ She is also expected — at times — to be accompanied by a puppet version of the three cubs from the film.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney
Hey guys, a new japanese trailer just came out with plenty of new footage! And was the case with the trailers for Tangled and the Robert Zemeckis Christmas Carol, they show the darker aspects of it! In other words--IT'S BETTER THAN THE AMERICAN MARKETING!!!!!
But this one has actual japanese language no subtitles. Still awesome though!

Thanks for posting the link. Indeed, it's the best trailer yet. What can I say? Japanese know how to make trailers!Tristy wrote:Hey guys, a new Japanese trailer just came out with plenty of new footage! A higher-quality trailer is available at the official Japanese website of 'Brave'. I've also found the translation for the Japanese trailer. The movie is going to be called "Merida and the Frightening Forest" in Japan.

I'm actually getting a Studio Ghibli vibe to the poster. Considering that Pixar highly respects Ghibli I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to emulate that magical yet exotic feel Ghibli movies tend to have.
As for the Japanese trailer, it was amazing! I too loved the fact that a lot of the drama and conflict was shown off rather than the humor and slapstick. It makes me REALLY excited to go see the film in June.
