The official Oscar website has posted a video of Andreas Deja talking about the Best Animated Short nominees:

To be honest, I was expecting a more sophisticated critique of the shorts from Andreas.

any link for A morning Stroll? i've seen the rest but I can't find Morning Stroll (and Luna of course).

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore and Wild Life were the best of the three, i thought Dimanche was pretty boring.

"A Morning Stroll" has not been released online. At least not yet.

Out of the three, my favourite one is "Wild Life".

Actually I think I like it a bit more from Flying Books as well. I feel a connection to the story.

The only thing thing I liked about "Flying Books" was the heartfelt ending although it felt a bit forced. The rest of the short was pretty 'meh'. "Wild Life" was witty, intimate, and also provided a social commentary. The 'painterly' style was great too.

they did the same thing with "One Man Band". they copyright and submit it to the Academy the year before it's seen by the public.

i was expecting wallflower tango to get nominated.
