I was wondering if anybody has seen this before? I was thinking about buying it for my mother's birthday but don't know if I should or not. Any suggestions???

Firstly, welcome.
Secondly, since it is a record and not a CD you are probably safe from bootlegs.
You have to watch out with a record that old that it is in good condition and playable. Even if it has been reasonably well cared for it could have degraded badly in that time.
You really want a rating - ie near mint/excellent or whatever it is. It does not sound like the seller would be expert enough to tell you though.
