Okay, I admit that there are some things he may need to learn, but I have to say it. I can't stand by anymore.

DisneyJedi, I, too, feel that some people (I won't name names) really have purposely been trying to rile you up instead of talk nicely to you in an attempt to calmly bring you to a positive discussion. I think some people have been almost borderline abusing you by subtley saying or doing small things that they shouldn't be, and I am sorry they have been. You're a sensitive guy and some people just don't seem to see that and think what they're doing is just harmless fun. I'm sorry you've gone through this, I'm sorry Disney animation is turning so terribly.

Until all of us Disney fans rise up and tell Disney to knock it off with protests and campaigns, I'm afraid we'll just have to remember, Disney used to make classic movies with classic animation long ago...and those movies are still masterpieces today we will love forever.

Whether you sympathize with him or not is irrelevant to the fact that downright going ballistic and insulting multiple users because they have different opinions than you is completely unacceptable, whether one views it was antagonistic or not. This is completely unacceptable on every level possible and shouldn't be excused.

I'm not calling a witch hunt here, it's just that all forums generally have the rule of, well, no flaming. It's a fundamental principle that most people, except for some, adhere to cause it's simply respectful.

Anyhow, I realize that we are a community here but I wouldn't suggest using the forum as a therapeutic outlet. Well, not this part of the forum anyway. There is a lovely thread for that in the off-topic section . I just don't see why anyone here needs to grant you any time to "let off steam". If you can't control what you're writing and need to take a break, then just do it. Personally, I think you do need a break from the forum. It obviously feels very different when 'talking' online in comparison to talking in real life, and sometimes that difference makes me forget that the others here are real people. If somebody had said to me some of what I have said to DisneyJedi, I would be hurt.

...However, I wouldn't ever have blamed somebody for the death of a relative beforehand, etc. I would never have said some of the ridiculous, accusatory things DisneyJedi has said. The definition of provoke is "to incite anger or resentment; to stir to action or feeling." Despite what you say, I was provoked by DisneyJedi's comments, even though they weren't directed at me. And if he was provoked earlier, than maybe DisneyJedi is slightly justified; but even if he is justified, he overreacted outrageously.
