I've gotten some votes in this, but not nearly as many submissions have come in for the actual voting as they did for the nominations (which was a lot). To be fair, I allowed a week for the noms, and not quite as long for these. I've only had a few people vote so far, and it's left a lot of the categories in grid-lock. Therefore, I'll extend this another day until 11:00pm (eastern time) tomorrow (Monday 6/21). If you haven't voted yet and would like to, please do so. It would be appreciated... it should take even less time than the nominating round. Thanks. :)

Oh, and don't worry, your votes stay 100% anonymous/confidential... I even copy the votes to a Word document and delete the PM and avert my eyes from the username when I'm counting them up. 8)

Thanks Aaron for the extension. Lots of finals at school right now. I've been really busy, but I'll make sure to send in my votes later tonight.

Sounds good... and it's no problem at all. I def. understand people being busy, and it can be extended even longer if it needs to be.

Reminder to get those votes in! I got a lot over the last day, which is great, but I could still use a few more (still 3 tied categories). So get those votes in... if by 11 tonight I still don't have enough, I can extend it by 1 more day. :)

Ties shouldn't be so bad, though. The more winners, the better! Right?

Good point... ties are fine with me too, then. Deadline is tonight, then, but I'll make it midnight, since I won't be posting any winners until tomorrow anyways. 8)

Tomorrow, the winner of Avatar of the Year will be announced. Prepare your acceptance speeches! :D

And now the time has come to announce our first winner (I'll post one a day). Before continuing, I'd like to say that the voting for a lot of these was very close, and with as many members as this site has, being nominated is quite an honor itself! Hopefully none of the categories will lead to offense or hurt feelings. :)

Um...sure...speech...speech...
Um...it was a team effort. No one person could do it alone. Thank-you and good night.

Well, no, actually I was surprised enough to be nominated, and now I won? :o Surprise of the century!
I'm very mich amazed...I would like to thank all 887 of you individually...but seeing that I am too lazy to type in all those names, why don't we just pretend I thank you all individually? :D

UltimateDisney.com Discussion Forum Of The Year

And the winner is...

General Discussion

I guess the forum really can't accept anything, so we can all applaud Luke and give ourselves a pat on the back as well, since a forum really is a group effort. :)

Tomorrow, I'll announce the Site Review Of The Year award...
