20/20 - The departure of MMB - with 2099net - a MMB Prod.™

Post by MickeyMouseboy »

Hello I'm Netty. Join us today as I interview one of UD.com most prominent and loved members. As many of you know on the evening of Jun 10th the forum received a shocking news that MMB was leaving the site as a whole. Many wondered why? did something happen that we weren't aware of? Well tonight MMB speaks.

Netty: Good Morning Mickey Mouse Boy

MMB: Morning Netty, How are you?

Netty: Very well Thank you. How are you feeling?

MMB: I'm very well. Just ready for you to ask away

Netty: Many members of the forum were shocked on the evening of June 10th when they read Maerj's post (http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... php?t=4064) What made you think of leaving?

MMB: Well Netty it was a moment where I decided it was the right thing to do. I won't mention the reason that lead me to that decision because I think It should be resolve between the party involved.

Netty: I see, that sheds some light to the hard decision you had to make. I'm sure it was hard to leave UD.com

MMB: At that moment yes it was, I've been coming to this site since I can remember. And not coming back daily was going to be hard not to do. This might sound bad but I actually did it.

Netty: I see that you made two new posts, those that mean you are thinking about coming back?

MMB: The answer for the first question is: MMP mysteriously ate 2 features and Chaos broke loose   :P So I decided to take my job back without notice :D I'm thinking about it but you never know I might pop in every now and then.

Netty: What can we expect from the new MMB?

MMB: Well, I'm going to make the anniversary pages with more info lol, and MMBoy buys which I will reviewing DVDs and other thing I buy for other members who are interested in those items besides that there's not much for me to do here.

Netty: Is there going to be more DVD reviews, other posts than anniversaries, chat session that you will take part of?

MMB: That's very hard to say, only will time will tell. I would love to do all of the above.

Netty: Did you read what other members had to say about you?

MMB: no!? I just got on and posted the anniversaries, I had 3 pages full of unread posts in the general forum!

Netty: well here's some:

What do you think MMB?

MMB:  Those are very nice posts

Netty: So what have you been doing in the 14 days of absence

MMB: well talking to you every night lol I visited other sites that I visit daily. spending more $$$ and watching millions of movies. Good times......

Netty: Would you care for a cup of tea?

MMB: Do you need to ask? pour away! Hey! I brought the Cucumber Sandwiches! Loomis said he will bring the Veggiemite

Netty: Now let's talk about something more important. How's the weather there!?

MMB: it's warm and hot. Fine weather to play croquet!

Netty: I bet you I can win!

MMB: that's alot of rubbish! why are we even talking about this? this is supposed to be about ME! :D

Netty: oh right! so anything else you want to say?

MMB: Well I think I said pretty much what needed to said. Just want to thank all my fans.......... I mean UD.com Friends! :earsguy: Thank you for the nice posts and for missing me. I feel loved! See ya soon!

Netty: Thanks MMB!

MMB: Anytime Mate!

Mickey Mouse Boy! We all missed you!
All those days that you were gone just seemed to drag on for...um...days!
Now, seeing that you have missed so much since you were last here, allow this smiley to tease you since you were not here while the rest of us were able to enjoy the features of UD: :P
 jk
We all missed you, never leave again!

:D Welcome Back MickeyMouseBoy! :D

Though I am curious as to why you left, I understand that you want to keep that private. I'm just glad you decided not to leave permanently. I know I'll be nervous when I go on vacation in August and not be able to post at UD.com! It's like a routine thing that feels odd if disrupted! Welcome back again! :mickey:

Mermaid Kelly - I totally remember that song! For a while I forgot where it was from. We used to sing it, but with different words. It kind of went like this...(lol, only remembered the chorus) "Jollybee! Jollybee! You are you, I am me, together we can eat at Jollybee! Ng sarap! (It's delicious!)"
:D Jollybee (or Jollibee) is a fast food restaurant in the Philippines (and I saw one in CA). We saw the commercial when we visited and I'm pretty sure it had the same tune to In Harmony! I couldn't understand it (just the Ng sarap part) so I put new/borrowed words! :D fun memories...
