Eh, what disney movie is?

I think Frozen will be good, but not at all what it could have been. Like Tangled, it'll fall short of whatever crazy expectations people have right now, so I'm lowering mine personally. And I say this in spite the fact that tangled had some of the best 3d human animation Ive seen to date. I just think they need to stray further from this safe little Disney box that they force themselves into.
Good point.

I'm kinda weirded out by the design of the russian Snow Queen, it looks like it was made for a tv show rather than a feature film.

Although we already knew this, Disney has now officially confirmed it:

Hand-drawn or not, I'm glad we're atleast still getting Snow Queen in some form or another. And surprisingly enough, I'm not as disturbed by "Frozen" as I was with "Tangled." Frozen sounds cooler in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. I'm fine with Frozen, but Disney's now desperate -_-

To Disney's perspective, hand-drawn movies do not make so much money nowadays, except for, "The Lion King," after its re-release. Animation has taken the next course.

I've found more artwork from a previous incarnation of The Snow Queen. This was done circa 2003 when Disney wanted a CG version of the film.

Art by Michael R. Todd

I'm not sure what to make of those designs; it's clear that Disney wanted to use a different style to Pixar when it came to humans, and while Kai's design is good, I don't like the Snow Queen's facial expressions.

I don't mind the design of the Snow Queen but that design of Kai seems very similar to a character you might find in Kingdom Hearts.

Snow Queen looks like she's had one too many facelifts . . .

The overall design of the face just made me think of that when I first saw it. I didn't mean one particular character from Kingdom Hearts but the overall design of the characters in the game. That's what I thought when I first saw it anyway.

Oh right; sorry, I misunderstood you. Yeah, I see where you're coming from, Kai does resemble some of the characters from KH.

In the images Sotiris posted, I think the Snow Queen looks a little like Christine Baranski.
