Spyro doesn't just come out on PS2, those games also come out on GC and Xbox for example and they're quite cheap; incidentally I found a Spyro game for $13 at Sam's Club...also you could buy a used GC for even $60 at EB games. And if it's new it comes with 2 free games (or 3, don't remember... and yes Spyro is on the deal).PMcOuntry wrote:I don't like console games for the fact that I can't afford one, and if I got one I couldn't afford any games, and the only games that interest me are Spyro... so consoles are useless for me. I liked driving games until I realized I couldn't drive a car on console games (or pc), the type of games I like only come available to PC, ie The Sims, Zoo Tycoon, you can't get those type of games for consoles. Consoles is like owning a big arcade, racing, etc. I would like to get a PS2 just to play the new Spyro games, but it seems silly to spend that much money for 1 or 2 games.
I grew up on PC games, not consoles, so maybe that's part of it too.
You say that you can't afford a console but I think you can. Take for example the GC deal I just gave you, it costs the same as a PC game; and you can also buy a PS2 or Xbox used but not as cheap.
The hardest and more difficult task on buying a console it's the console itself since you have to spend (when they just come out) at least a copuple of hundreds. But once games start coming in great quantities you'll find a very nice variety and extremely affordable prices $20 or less for the Player's Choice selection.
PS
Also I'd believe that you must like platform games and on consoles that's where you'll find them most.
