Favorite Character: Owl. Thumper, Bambi, and Flower are the only other characters I like.

Favorite Song: I guess “Little April Shower.” My favorite piece of music from the film is “Gallop of the Stags” from the score though. EDIT: I hope FH doesn't think I was copying him when I said that. I had my post window open and got distracted with something else before I saw his post.

Favorite Scene: The ending with the dog-chase and the forest fire. As a child, that scene always felt very terrifying and hellish for some reason.

Character: Bambi of course! Biiirrrrr-D!

Scene: I like when Bambi goes walking through the forest with his mom right after he's born. The forest backgrounds are really amazing

Song: Love is a Song :)

Character : Thumper.

Scene : Either the climactic forest fire, Twitterpated or the Bambi on ice scene.

Song : Probably Little April Shower but I can't recall many songs from Bambi.

Character: I don't necessarily have a fave. Maybe Thumper. As a kid, I'd definitely say Thumper.

Scene: The Twitterpated scene is a family favorite. Though, I also love Bambi on ice, and the Great Prince yelling at Bambi, "Get up!" Young Faline was fun, too, and Bambi's birth and first words scenes...

Song: All the Bambi songs are creepy to me, ha, but sorta in a good way. They were even creepier on my old fisher price record player, at the end of the story on my book and record. I'm going to go with April Shower...

I have always disliked the main theme song, which goes like this:
"Love is a song that never ends, one simple theme repeating".

That sounds horrible to me. A never ending song with a simple repeating theme would drive someone insane. Are they saying that love will drive you insane?

Character: Bambi.

Scene: Bambi's mother's death. It's so well executed, the pace, the tension. Yes it's sad, but it's hard not to appreciate how well done it is.

Song: "I Bring You A Song". It has a bittersweet sensibility to it. Almost nostalgic.

A great film for sure.

Character: Flower

Song: Little April Showers _ I also like how the mood of the song changes from a 'little shower' to a true storm and how it's expressed by the voices and the music.

Scene: Forest fire

Character: Probably Thumper.

Song: I have a soft spot for "Little April Showers", but this song also sounds great on its own.

Scene: Probably the onset of Autumn, just because it really gives that feeling that it has arrived.

Thumper/Bambi are my fav. characters, they display such sincerity in the performance. It's easy to see why Thumper became a run away hit with audience, he's fiesty, well rounded, loveable bunny. Bambi's a great character too, the way he fumbbles with Faline is so cute, almost every guy (like me) has been in that kind of situation.

Aside from Bambi's Ice Skating Sequence and him/Thumper meeting for the 1st time being my fav. sequences, I mostly recall the Bachlor scene where Flower, Thumper and Bambi fall into love's arm.
