Anyone else ever have trouble getting points for your CDs? I have had this problem in the past, and it took forever for me to get any attention paid through e-mail. Their automatic way of doing it just doesn't work for me. It tells me to install Java, but that never works and I usually have to uninstall it because it messes up my computer.

One Day Only
The Site is up and running. I just redeemed my points for TinkerBell. I haven't decided yet if I want Mickey Mouse and Eyore. Good luck to anyone else wanting Jim Shore pieces.lordshadow wrote:If anyone did not get the e-mail they are doing some special one day rewards on 11/28 starting at 9am Pacific. They are 3 Jim Shore figurines: Snowman Mickey (1300 pts), Tinkerbell with ornaments (1875pts) and an Elf Eyore (1750 pts). Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/ar ... rds_fall11
Anyone want to place bets on how long before the server crashes that day?

I got it! And there's a Blu-Ray player offer like last year. However, this year it's a Panasonic, last year it was a Sony. Not a bad deal for $59.99. Not sure if it is 3D though. I got the Sony last year and it was 3D ready.AladdinFan wrote:Has anyone gotten the new e-mail from DMR "Claim Your Mystery Bonus Point".

That's not really a bad price, if you have all of those movies (or plan to get them). The player sells for $90ish at Costco/Amazon. I can't find any information on if it does 3D or not. It doesn't have wireless, and a lot of the reviews say that it locks up a lot.
Of course that could already be fixed with a firmware update.

It's one time. I got 50 bonus points when I entered in my code for African Cats.AladdinFan wrote:Click on my e-mail where it says 'Unlock Bonus Now' and got 200 free points after I entered a code.
Still wondering if this is a one-time only free bonus code or I can entered as many codes I want and get free bonus points.

Last year's Sony 3D ready player was also $59.99. With shipping and processing (and tax - remember, I'm in Canada) it came out to being $101.99 - which was still an awesome deal because Future Shop was selling the same unit for over $170.DarthPrime wrote:I'm tempted, but wonder how much shipping actually is for the item.

Anyone think it's strange that Marvel movies aren't included in DMR?
I recently bought Thor and Captain America and was pretty curious as to whether or not there would be a code inside.
Also, I just hit 10,000 with the two Beauty and the Beast sequels. I wonder if I should keep saving for that studio tour.

I can't decide if I want Jim Shore's Kermit statue; 2000 points is kind of a lot for a statue that's worth $40. I really want it and if I get it off of DMR it's technically "free," I guess. But I hate not knowing if there'll be something I really want later. Then again, if I wait (like I did with the Jim Shore Pinocchio/Blue Fairy statue) then it might be gone and not ever show up on the site again. I only have 3603 so my options are limited to begin with. Any thoughts?

Do you have the WDCC Pinocchio/Blue Fairy? I just got that last week & it is awesome. Goes for up to $250 on some sites (cherrylane) & is at least in the $150 range at the least. The Snow White/Dopey is almost 7,000 points and is list price below it. Plus it's just a phenomenal sculpture set. I like WDCC a LOT more than the Jim Shores.TheSequelOfDisney wrote:I can't decide if I want Jim Shore's Kermit statue; 2000 points is kind of a lot for a statue that's worth $40. 15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

No, I don't have that. I really wanted the Jim Shore sculpture to match the Jim Shore Fantasia sculpture that I previously got from DMR (kind of like bookends for the other Disney/Jim Shore sculptures). The WDCC one does look really nice, though (I would like to see a better picture of it though since the one DMR put up really isn't revealing/informative). Plus, I still really like the Kermit Jim Shore sculpture. Who knew picking something free would be so difficult?!buffalobill wrote:Do you have the WDCC Pinocchio/Blue Fairy?
