Yes it's very good, but then again you're talking to a Goofy fan. They only bad thing is that there isn't a play all option on the disc. But it's worth buying.

Just a word of "warning". :P The name The Complete Goofy refers to Goofy titled shorts, not all Goofy appearances on shorts are there.
There are others shorts with Goofy appearing in them, mainly in the Mickey Mouse treasures and a few sporadic ones in other DVDs. (And 8 appearances haven't been released on DVD yet.)

I just didn't want you to go buy it thinking it has all Goofy appearances like a friend of mine did :)

But the treasure is great! Especially if you like Goofy

Yeah, but most of these are available elsewhere, so it isn't a huge deal.

Just to echo the comments, I personally think the Goofy set is one of the best. Not only does it have the most in sheer numbers of cartoons, I personally think they are much funnier than the Mickey or Donald ones (however, they are also quite important to look at in terms of animation history, if that is your thing...).

Goofy is a favourite character of mine, so perhaps I'm a little biased. But I think he also shows the most change throughout his "career", so whether you are a history of animation buff, or just a fan of Disney 'toons, I'd say go for it. I paid around that for my Goofy set (on eBay) and it was worth every penny.

Walt Disney Treasures - The Complete Goofy is a wonderful set and is worth to buy if you could still find one.
I got the Wave 1&2 Ultiamte Treasure Chest at Costco in October 2003 and I love all of them but Goofy was the best one from the set.
The sad part is they don't have the tins.
I'm so happy to have all the Treasures.

I honestly find they get a little old after awhile. I found I could watch almost all of the Mickey, Donald or Silly Symphonies in a row. I couldnt do it with Goofy though they were far too similar too each other with all the How to Play ones. The character was far better when Pinto Colvig did the voice in the Mickey cartoons if you ask me. He only lasted for a couple on the Complete Goofy before going to another studio.

Really my least favorite of the animated Treasure sets.

Personally i'd put it in my top three {with donald duck and on the front lines}.

Though i have to admit the tomorrowland one was better then i thought, it was actually interesting.

Just buy it and see for yourself. Whats the worst that could happen? You buy it, don't like it, and in a few months resell it for 60 dollars.

Well I bought it and its on its way. If I dont like it and find it boring like JJJ, I will just sell it on the cheap, pretty sure I will find a buyer. Thanks all. 8)

I wouldn't say I didn't like it. In fact I have enjoyed all the Treasures. It just didn't measure up to some of the other Treasures for me.

I just found it difficult to watch except in spirts of about 3 or 4 at a time. In fact I am still about half way through Disk 2.

Well, you can always get a 5-DVD changer (like my mom did) and put 5 different treasures on it, and play assorted shorts from each and you'll have lot of variety, like creating the coolest Disney channel ever!

I enjoy Goofy more than the other characters when it comes to watching the older cartoons. I guess I just get the humor more. It's a good set overall. Snap it up!

I think it is worth it though it depends on how much you like Goofy.

If you hadn't already bought it, I'd say: Get it while you can! I'd pay much more if I had to.

I enjoyed all the shorts on the Goofy Treasure set, but one additional thing that I enjoyed were the odd shorts here and there where I saw one or more of the Nine Old Men listed as animators; I guess they worked on these between the features for change of pace to stay sharp, and the shorts they work on show their touch (which by my saying, I don't intend to take away from the other shorts, they are all funny). There is another short from the 50s I think involving Goofy in a bullfighting setting that I can't remember the title of, but I do remember that it had gorgeous backgrounds by Eyvind Earle, who was the design & background artist for "Sleeping Beauty," so if you liked his work on that you'd like this short especially too.

I don't own it but a friend loaned me his copy and I loved all of the shorts on this fun and cool set.

This, along with Donald, is my favorite set of them all. I loved every single short on this set and I could watch them over and over if I ever had the time to.
