Mine shipped too, and it's a good thing and I hope it gets here soon, since sometime in December, I'm going to be spending the holidays with my fiancee, and there's a Disney Outlet Mall about an hour away from where she lives...... :excellent:

There seems to be some more recent DVD movies for points, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is 825 points. I don't need it, I got he blu ray combo. Also they have Haunted Mansion on DVD (the only reason I mention it is because it says it's in widescreen specifically in the reward title..)

Pity the parent who had to waste their points on DVDs you can easily buy at stores.

Argh, I really wanted that WDCC Dumbo, but it's sold out! I guess I will go after the Nemo statue instead, since one more DVD should put me there.

It looks like the VIP deal, Take Home More Favorites for Less, is just reduced points on 15 select DVDs (which I sort of figured). I saw a few of the reward DVDs slightly slashed of their original redeem price this morning.

More details can be found here:

Drat! I was really hoping for reduced points on sculptures (but that is a pipe dream apparently, like double points day).

Yeah, reduced sculptures would have been sweet! I have MOSTLY gotten DVDs from them, all DMC ones, but I AM a bit annoyed lately that they seem to be mostly putting up non-DMC exclusives now. I dont' want to waste points on something I can easily buy off Amazon.com or even Best Buy.

I've managed to get MOST of the DMCs they offered. Really wanted the Kim Possibles, but they're out of stock. I do still need the Polly movies and Jumping Ship, but I'm not attached to those films at all and they're not oldschool enough, so I am more tempted to spend points on WDCC statues, which I love but have never managed to save enough for until now. One DMC I know I missed was Condorman, and I wanted that one badly. I also greatly regret missing the Mary Poppins Umbrella. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch the show when it's in Austin on my birthday in April, if I can get the cash together, and get the umbrella there. Wanted one of those since I was a kid (wish it didn't say Mary Poppins: The Musical, or something like that, on it; I think it does...).

Oh, some of the other stuff I've nabbed so far are the Bolt bobblehead, which is very cool, and the first issue of the D23 magazine, but that was a disappointment. It came in terrible condition! I don't recall if I've ever ordered anything else besides DVDs.

Thanks for the reminder that the 2nd offer started today -- I was thinking early December, but I guess that's the 3rd offer about "owning a piece of the magic".

At least it was what it sounded like (and what some of us guessed when the offers were announced), even if it didn't cover the full range of prizes on their site. I too would have liked a discount on the WDCC sculptures -- that's how I got my first one, when they reduced the price of several by 25% on their first anniversary.

I really am wondering if the next offer is going to be the long-lost framed Disney share, which was previously available for 4,000 points + cost of frame. It's not like we can buy a piece of a Disney timeshare with our points, so I can't think what else it would be (except perhaps a "chance" to own a piece of the magic, i.e. another lame raffle).

Bah! None of them listed either interest me, or I have them already. Too bad none of the yellow-bordered DMC exclusives made the list.

I apologize if this has been discussed in another thread, but is anyone else having a hard time getting the Muppet promotion through DMR?

I bought Muppet Christmas Carol so I could get a free ticket to the movie, but it didn't have any points inside. This was on Saturday. I submitted a missing points form and it's still "pending moderation." But even if the points go through, will I still get my free ticket?

I also went to my local Best Buy and another store that sells DVDs and I couldn't find a single Muppet movie with the DMR logo in the corner. I found that season 3 of the Muppets had the DMR logo (not 1 or 2) but I didn't want to buy an entire season.

I'm concerned because we were going to go to the movie the evening of Thanksgiving, but it sounds like I won't be getting my free ticket. Any advice?

I've seen Muppet movies at Target that are double sealed... the outer seal protection a sticker that says "come with free ticket to the Muppets" or something like that.

I would call DMRs today to get your issue resovled. it has sometimes take 5 weeks for my submission to be validated and only so when I called in to speed it up.

Jeez, I'm planning on doing the same thing, getting Muppet Christmas Carol and Treasure Island from Wal-Mart today (if they have them). Hope I don't encounter the same issue! Don't expect to go to the movie till Friday or Saturday though. I'm going to try to do the Best Buy thing on Thursday night, if the line isn't already too big after dinner.

Calling was the best idea here. I called and the woman helped me right away and pushed it through and I got both my points and my free ticket!

Everything was okay with mine. They had the inserts and all. I recommend folks buy these Muppet movies at Wal-Mart, where they're only ten bucks, and get the ones with the stickers on them that actually say Free Muppet Movie Tickets or whatever. Now, I'm just worried about getting mine printed! My mom's printer is on the fritz!

So, I've got like 2,400 points now, but the Dumbo I wanted is out of stock, as are the Kim Possible DVDs. So, my next choice is the Nemo sculpture, but I think I'm gonna wait and find out if they ARE going to have Disney Stock, because that would be really cool. Though, I probably wouldn't have 4000 (?) points before they are all gone, ha. Just hope the Nemo statue doesn't disappear before we find out if they are going to offer that or not.

How many points are the Jim Shore pieces on average?
I saw Kermit, Piggy and Animal.
I would be interested in the Animal...although I am not sure I would have enough points.
The figurines are up now in the Collectibles section: 2,000 points each.

Kermit: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/re ... ermit-6383

Miss Piggy: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/re ... -piggy6384
