Favourite Character, Scene and Song in Cinderella
In 1950's Cinderella, who is your favourite character, what is your favourite scene and what is your favourite song?
My favourite characters are Lucifer, the King and the Grand Duke (I can't decide on one specific favourite); my favourite scene is more of a moment, when Cinderella's ruined mother's dress is transformed into a beautiful, glittering ball gown; and my favourite song is 'Bibbidi-Bobbodi-Boo'.
Who/what are yours?

Favorite Characters: I like most of the characters from this film, but my favorite is probably Lady Tremaine. I love her design, Audley’s performance, and just the way her mannerisms are so bound in reality. Besides her, Cinderella is of course one of the most sympathetic of Disney’s heroines, and Ilene Woods gives her a warm personality.
Favorite Scene: I love the scene for “Sing, Sweet Nightingale.” Besides that, definitely the introduction of Lady Tremaine in her bedroom. I love the scene where the Stepmother instigates the tearing of Cinderella’s dress in the middle of the film, too, and the ghostly music that plays as the Fairy Godmother appears.
Favorite Song: “Sing, Sweet Nightingale.” Not really crazy about most of the songs in the movie, but I love this one.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ "Elizabeth Taylor"
Katy Perry ~ "bandaid"
Meghan Trainor ~ "Still Don't Care"

Character: Cinderella
Scene: The scene where Cinderella trys on the slipper, Lady Tremaine trips the footman, the shoe breaks, Lady Tremaine think she has won, the Grand Duke is scared, Cinderella brings out her other slipper, Lady Tremaine is shocked, the shoe fits, and then it transitions to her happily ever after wedding day!
Song: I can't pick one, but I do love the deleted songs "The Dress My Mother Wore" and "I Lost My Heart at the Ball."

Where can I listen to these songs? I never heard them before. Is there a deleted storyboard video for those two like "The Work Song"?tsom wrote: Song: I can't pick one, but I do love the deleted songs "The Dress My Mother Wore" and "I Lost My Heart at the Ball."

I guess the only way to listen to them is to get the dvd. Lol. I checked on YouTube and "The Dress My Mother Wore" is on there but in bad quality. And, no, they don't have deleted storyboards unfortunately.Super Aurora wrote:Where can I listen to these songs? I never heard them before. Character: Cinderella (it's easy to forget because of the Renaissance girls, but Cinderella is freakin' gorgeous, and she's really sweet, too)
Scene: It's a tie between Cinderella's scene with the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella showering, ha.
Song: Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boo
