I've been thinking of joining the DMC, to get the yellow-bordered exclusive DVDs. After the introductory offer, how many do you have to buy and what is the cost per movie?

If I remember correctly, the standard prices were on par with maybe Best Buy in store prices. I think you only have to get 5 or so titles a year, and they count the ones you get with membership so you're set for 2 years. You HAVE to respond to their membership deals though, or else they assume you want them and send them their monthly feature anyway. You can send it back, but it can be a pain. That is why I got booted from the club.
They sent me Fox and the Hound with one of the Buddy films because I didn't respond to their offer in time. I sent it back, but they said they never recieved it and wanted me to pay them $45 for the set. I refused to pay for something I didn't have. They kept sending me letters in the mail to pay, and I called them several times to inform them I mailed it back. Over the phone they told me not to worry about it, and that when they get it the system will stop sending me mail. Then one day my account shut down without any warning. I was really mad because I wanted to purchase the nice Sleeping Beauty set they had because it's my favorite DAC, but I couldn't because of my "unpaid balance". Now I don't know if I'm banned from re-joining or not, but I decided the whole thing was more of a pain in the ass than it was worth.

Using code: 17674D (5 for $1) you would have to purchace 3 titles at regular price of $19.95 or higher. However if you take the $11.95 title, you only need to buy 2 titles at $19.95 or higher.
I waiting for a free shipping code to get Hans Brinker or the Silver Skates and Midnight Madness , which would bring my average to $6.87 each.
Took advantage of Best Buy's Winter Blitz sale today and picked up these:
Pandorum - $4.99
Ratatouille - $19.99
WALL-E - $19.99
A Bug's Life was also on sale for $19.99, but I got to hold-off buying anymore until I get paid next Friday. Maybe if I win the $50 million Lotto Max tonight, I can buy the whole store tomorrow.
Oh, man, people are posting some stuff I badly want! ha. Incidentally, jrboy, if you have any Big Lots stores nearby, they have Hans Brinker for only 3 dollars (brand new), along with a few other Disney titles. Unfortunately, nothing I need (already have Hans and the others they had, plus there are a couple I just don't want, like Hannah Montana v. 4 and stuff like that; perhaps I should get them just for the DMR codes, ha).
Anyways, my latest purchases (not exactly in the last few days, more like earlier this month) were these:
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) $16.75 - Amazon
I'm finally replacing my CoS Fullscreen DVD (and upgrading to Blu, too!) even though I'll probably be purchasing the Ultimate Edition of the entire series next year.
On another note, I actually have to return my 7.2 Blu-ray/DVD/DC because I ended up getting two copies of the DVD instead of one BD and one DVD. I already have a new one being sent.

What cover is this? An exclusive? I haven't seen this style of cover for Chamber of Secrets yet.
^ I believe it's a Target exclusive in the US. I hadn't seen it either until I started looking for CoS on Amazon. This way I can essentially replace the fullscreen version I got back in 2002 and now have the Blu-ray version of it as well. I think I saw a few others similar to this version on Amazon as well. I just hope that the DC still works (though it probably won't since I think this version was released in April, which was the same time as DHP1 and that DC is already expired).

It is, Indeed.
Anyway I was out doing some Christmas shopping and noticed in a land where classic Doctor Who normally costs $20-70 for a single story, I noticed this one was on sale for $10 at HMV (Normally $47 there).
But my mom's printer is on the fritz, so I hope I can manage to get those Muppet movie tickets printed out SOMEHOW!
At any rate, looking forward to watching these two in DVD quality, and it's been a long time since I've watched Treasure Island. Tim Curry should be fun!
