It totally made me think of these:magicalwands wrote:Me too! The sound effects are just like Transformers, the old cartoon! Makes me wonder if Pixar did that on purpose...enigmawing wrote:Heh heh, love the T-bone.

Thanks Loomis!
DisneyPixar's channel on YouTube has the the official short preview up in HD:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Ymwe4DB_HsU" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Their video description contains spoilers. Here's the short synopsis in whiteout:
*Buzz Lightyear is left behind at a fast food restaurant when a kids' meal toy version of Buzz takes his place. While Bonnie's toys are stuck with the annoying three-inch-tall Buzz impersonator, the real Buzz is trapped in the restaurant at a support group for discarded toys. As Woody and the gang devise a way to rescue their friend, Buzz tries to escape the toy psychotherapy meeting.*

And for the link! Yes, I saw it at a very early preview of The Muppets, and it is safe to say everyone will enjoy it. I do hope they go back to more 'original' shorts after this, but this is definitely lots of fun.Dr Frankenollie wrote:^ Thank you for the sypnosis, Silly Symphony. ^The fact that they have Laluna attached to brave already shows they are. Seems having shorts based on preexisting franchises attached to a Pixar movie was a one time thing with Cars 2, which being a sequel itself made it more excusable if you ask me. We should still get all original shorts on any non Pixar sequel, and possibly even Monsters University. There are more Toy Story Toons planned, but I think it'll just be other Disney movies and/or Disney channel and dvd/blu ray from here on out. They just wanted to get the ball rolling.

Yes, La Luna look beautiful and I can't wait to see it in full. As does Brave for that matter. It seems like such a long wait now until the next Disney/Pixar animated film, with Brave mid year and Wreck-It Ralph end of 2012! Am I missing something?Kyle wrote:^The fact that they have Laluna attached to brave already shows they are. Of course, you lucky people in the US will see iTangled Ever After attached to BatB3D in January. We've already had that released in 3D in Australia last year, and it doesn't look like it will get a second showing according to the release schedules I get from the studio.

First Details On The Next ‘Toy Story’ Short Called ‘Partysaurus’

Famous DJ and producer BT is apparently doing the music for the next Toy Story Toon, which he discussed in a recent interview:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jzaB3e_V5-8" frameborder="0"></iframe>
The Pixar part comes at 1:12 and we’ve got the transcript below.
"I’m in the middle of scoring a film for Pixar right now. It’s a short for Toy Story, and I’m not allowed to say the whole story, but quite literally, it’s like a Toy Story rave, and I’m actually not kidding either. Like, the toys get into all these shenanigans and it’s like pounding club music, this thing. So it’s really not very Pixar, but in like a really hysterical way, everyone laughs so hard when they see it. It’s really exciting to work with those guys."
In another article about BT with Billboard, they refer to the short as "Partysaurus", suggesting Rex is the star this time around.
We know that the fantastic La Luna is the short in front of Brave and after that we won’t get another Pixar film until next Summer: Monsters University. Being as that’s a movie about college, I’d bet that’s where we’ll see "Partysaurus".

Confirming the previous report, the next short in the Toy Story Toons series will be "Patrysaurus Rex".

So, if the toys are any indication we may end up with that short before either 'Frankenweeine', Nemo 3D or MAYBE 'Monsters, Inc. 3D'. My money is it being paired with 'Finding Nemo' as 'Tangled Ever After' did pretty well to help get in a few extra people for 'Beauty & The Beast 3D' but early enough for the toy to be out for Christmas.Sotiris wrote:Confirming the previous report, the next short in the Toy Story Toons series will be "Patrysaurus Rex".
