Smokin' Joe Frazier has died.
Sadly, just 1 day after it was publicly announced that he was in critical condition from liver cancer which was just diagnosed a month ago Joe Frazier lost the fight. He didn't lose very many fights and it's sad to see him lose this one at only 67 years old. I've always been an Ali fan but the 3 fights between those two were perhaps the greatest series of fights in heavyweight boxing history. RIP Joe
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

Had the wonderful privilege of interviewing Joe Frazier for a television station I was working at........way back when..........and found him to be one of the nicest people to talk with.
Sad to hear about this, and I do agree that those three fights that he and Muhammad Ali had were the greatest fights in modern boxing history.
R.I.P.: Joe Frazier
