This is a concept I saw on a forum I used to visit. It is an easy way to share stories and see what similarities you have with other UD members.

Two. I'm their elder sister. lol My brother is 21 and my sister is 20.

Two. A male cat named Shadow (I don't know what breed he is) and a large male dog named Romo (Boxer, doberman, and labrador mix. I should post a picture of him sometime. He sounds weird but he's a handsome looking dog. He has webbed toes of a labrador)

*What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
Maine Black Bear (Vanilla ice cream with swirls of raspberry syrup and little dark chocolate cup-shaped chocolates filled with raspberry syrup.

*What's the nicest thing anyone ever said to you?
Well, maybe this counts. Back at 2003, I went to a food sampling convention in Portland (ME) with my high school culinary class. While I was walking around with my class, a man running one booth started singing "Chantilly Lace" when I looked at him and he looked directly at me as he sang it. He hadn't once heard my name is Shantel. It was a cool (and random) thing to experience.

*What's your favorite childhood memory?
The time I received a post card from an Iditarod musher. In 1998, I was in seventh grade and my class studied the Iditarod dog sled race and each of us had to do a research essay about a musher (I think we had a choice of any musher participating in that year's Iditarod). The musher I researched was DeeDee Jonrowe. I somehow got her mailing address and wrote her a letter. She sent me a custom made postcard showing a picture of her on her sled being pulled by her huskies. Her reply on it was handwritten in ink and she drew a paw print next to her signature. My mom helped me laminate the postcard to protect it. DeeDee got second place in the Iditarod that year.

*What's your favorite number?
I don't know how to pick a favorite number.

*What is your favorite Disney movie?
The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I've been a fan of it since I watched it with my family at a drive-in theater when the film played in theaters everywhere. I was 11 then. The songs were what attracted me most to the film especially Bells of Notre Dame at the beginning of the film.

Sheldon (that's what it says on Facebook- there is one UD'er who knows what my real first name is)

*Do you have a middle name?
I have 2. My father and his grandfather are named Benjamin, so my father wanted me to have their name in the middle. My mother wanted Noah to be my middle name, so it's my 2nd middle name.

*Do you have any siblings?
One brother: Mark

*Do you have any pets?
4 cats, 2 dogs, 5 birds, 1 dwarf bunny, and I don't know how many fish. (One of my roommates works at a pet store.)

*What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
Peanut butter - chocolate mix

*What's the nicest thing anyone ever said to you?
I'm a bit strange here in that, I don't take "nice" compliments. I just kinda say "thank you" back and that's it. I forget them. What I like is to be flattered, complimented on a body part or something like that.

*What's your favorite childhood memory?
I never remember things as in events. I remember places, atmospheres, feelings, sounds, smells, etc. Details. In general: I just really love to swim. Got to do a lot of that as a kid. As an adult, not so much.

*What's your favorite number?

*What is your favorite Disney movie?
I guess it really is Sleeping Beauty.

*What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
I think it was Charlie's Angels. The first one.

*As a kid, did you wish you were a player on the Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple?
Oh God... I really can't remember. I watched only maybe 10 episodes of that show and I was maybe 11 and me and my friends would just leave it on and go nuts in the house. I'm not kidding- a lot of my pre-teen years were spent just going completely crazy. GOD I fucking miss those days. We'd play games, my best friend's sister and her friends would be going in and out. We'd be watching Full House and making jokes about how stupid it was.

Two sisters. A full-blooded one that's a year older than me, and a younger half-sister that's only 13.

A dog, west highland terrier. 12 years old and as lively as ever

Superman! Besides that, I love black raspberry and strawberry, haha

*What's the nicest thing anyone ever said to you?
I honestly don't keep track of compliments, to be honest

*What's your favorite childhood memory?
Any. One of my biggest flaws is that I'm very nostalgic

*What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
I saw the remake/prequel of The Thing a couple of weeks again. As a big fan of John Carpenter's version, I came in skeptical and came out liking it a little more than I was expecting to, but I honestly can't remember much about it at all at this point. Standard action flick for me.

*As a kid, did you wish you were a player on the Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple?
Oh, you have no idea. Even though I live really close to Orlando, those shows wanted middle school-aged kids, and I was like 4 or 5 when that was still in production, so I had no chance.

My sister and I used to renact the show in our rooms all the time. We'd pull down our dressers to jump on top of them to reach the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, aka our fan. And when our mom or grandparents would come in to scream at us, we'd try to run away from "the Temple Guards". I miss those days.
