Frankly Jackoleen, I don't think many of your posts belong in a forum like this. Granted this is an open forum, but that doesn't mean you disregard common sense. I mean, what are people supposed to think of you when you post things like that. I'm sure there are other online communities where discussions like this are openly discussed and even invited, but a primarily Disney one like UD... It'll be harder to find people who would really like to talk about such things.

I suggest try out some other places if you feel like people don't like you here.

If you are truly sick of people complaining about it, then you should stop listening. The fact is that it will NEVER go away, and it can and will happen in any community you lvie in. You can avoid it however. You could look for new places to hang out, new shows to watch on tv, move to a new community, leave wherever you are so that you wont have to hear about it.

As someone who spent a year and a half working at a residential treatment facility for young adults 14-21 that have been sexually abused their entire lives, (I now work with special ed. kids at a High School) I can tell you that there is a significant amount of trauma that occurs when people are raped or molested. Those people need to talk about it as a part of their healing. If you can't handle being someone they can talk to, you should leave their lives.

I understand you're disgusted by it, who wouldn't be? But just complaining about hearing about it, and not actually doing anything to help this social crisis makes you seem more pathetic than the people you are "sick" of hearing.
