While understand that, I still find the DVD packaging unnecessary. Since this is a new format, it's OK to have a different case to go with it.
When DVD was in its heyday, I didn't see anyone wanting DVDs to come in VHS cases so they can retain uniformity in their collection and certainly the industry didn't bother with that at all, so why now?

You might be right. The ad from Target doesn't mention a coupon, and they usually do if there is one.

I was going to say to keep in mind that there was a coupon for both Dumbo and Spooky Buddies, but that was just before I discovered this...
There is a coupon, it looks like it's live, but I can't print it out yet myself, I hope it's not an ongoing problem. But you can find it at www.winniethepoohcoupon.com

I tried to print, and got an error that my printer isn't supported. Maybe its not up yet. Will try again in the morning.
UPDATE: Seems to be up now. Just tried to print again, and it printed no problems.
Just watched Winnie the Pooh on DVD a number of hours ago, before Torchwood - Miracle Day and Fringe. I really enjoyed it and the Nessie short, which feel like it could be longer.
No signature needed - Kyoto Animation put out some beautiful animation
The Winnie the Pooh Coupon is now live! (Thanks to KACENAID and DarthPrime for bringing it to my attention that it's finally been posted! )

Although the price on my order hasn't been adjusted yet. Hopefully it will soon/before it ships.
Really?! I haven't looked at my order yet, but I'm glad that we'll be getting it for that low of a price. I'm starting to really like Amazon's coupons! Too bad I won't be getting it until the week after due to the free shipping that I picked.

It was not made for 3D (and unlike Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part ONE there was never a time where it was supposed to come out in 3D) so it seems pretty sure that there will not be a 3D transfer for a very long while if at all.
Has anyone's Amazon preorder not adjusted to $24.99, or $17.99 with coupon? I've tried contacting Amazon twice, and they just say to wait until it ships, and if I don't get the lower price to contact them.
UPDATE: Just checked again, and they have adjusted the price to $17.99. Great deal.
Christopher_TCUIH wrote:Aw man so there's no coupon just for the blu-ray/DVD without the digital copy? ;/
Typically for most releases the coupon is only good for the most expensive edition, but you might get lucky if you have a cashier who doesn't care or doesn't read the coupon closely.
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"
I checked my Amazon pre-order and it indeed has gone down to $24.99 (so it will definitely by $17.99). I can't wait to see this again. I think this film, Many Adventures and all of Pooh's merchandise will continue to sell, so Disney didn't lose any money at all.
This is a blind buy for me, but at the Amazon $17.99 price I think its worth it. My order is sitting about 20 miles from me right now at a UPS center... Should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to watch it.
