well, Fall is in the air and I pulled this one out today and watched it while getting ready for work. I remember actually going to the movies when this first came out and seeing it. The dvd release is very good. The picture is very sharp and is it widescreen. the film has held up well, and what surprises me, is how well the special effects appear. I put this on many times during the month of October, and can honestly say, people love it. It has truly taken on a cult following and so many people know, "I Put a Spell on You" and "Come Little Children". Bette Midler has stated in several interviews that this was one of her favorite roles. I was hoping in 2003 we would have been blessed with a 10th Anniversary Edition. The film had several scenes that were featured on trailers and commercials, but, never have surfaced...what a treat! it would be to have those. My local Target and Wal-Mart always carry the title in the fall and I've seen several times, and they were completely sold out...so the movie still sells very well.

I'd love to see a Blu-ray or new DVD release for this tile, but who knows if it will happen? It is a film I may be willing to double dip for once if the new version was worth it.

Love it! We watch at all times of the year but always make it a point to watch while decorating and on Halloween, been waiting for a BD release too but we may be waiting til 2013 or next year since sometimes they go a year ahead on anniversaries
