I'm not very familiar with it, but I've become a bit more aware of the furry community recently, and I started realizing that a lot of UD members have anthropomorphic characters as their avatars. That doesn't necessarily mean much, since half of the DAC are either completely anthro (like Robin Hood), or have characters that could be considered anthro like Baloo.
Of course, there is a wide range of interests in furry fandom (like any fandom), some people may just like looking at/drawing furry art (like many Disney characters), and others may go the whole route and wear fursuits at conventions, etc.
I don't know how many people will come forward, it looks like some internet cliques ( /b/ etc.) think furries are the lowest of the low.
I'm curious, are any UD members "Furries"?

I've been asked if I have a "fursona." Never got around to creating one but it seems fun.
I'm not into it enough to actually refer to myself as a "furry," but one of my friends is an admin over at Fur Affinity and I do have an account there, so I'm pretty aware of the community.
I know a lot of people bash Jay Naylor's "Better Days," but it's one of the most gripping webcomics I've ever read. It stars fraternal twin cats and follows them from their childhood in the 80's to adulthood in modern times (they now have children of their own in the sequel "Original Life"). It's funny, it's dark, it's somber, it's twisted. And definitely not for kids. I won't link to his site as it includes adult material but it's easy enough to find. I'm not sure why there's such a bad connotation over the fandom within certain cliques, except that it seems most people are cool with "funny animal" stories (like Disney's Robin Hood) until they have mature, serious themes to them.
