Post by Mockingbird »

Mondo acquired the license to produce Limited Edition Disney posters last year. Has anyone here had any luck acquiring one of these limited prints? The regular editions of the prints are sold through Mondo's shop, while the variants come out at a later date on Sideshow Collectible's site.

Wow. Judge Doom's hand has Dip dripping from it but the Dip looks like blood (dyed from a red Toon shoe) as though it's a allegory for his murdering Marvin Acme and Teddy Valiant and the Toon shoe.

The Steamboat Willie, Wise Little Hen and Mickey's Service Station posters look awesome. I'd totally get those if it was possible. The others are pretty cool, too.

WOW! Those posters are brilliant. I love the noir-ish style poster of Who Framed Roger Rabbit with Judge Doom's glove dripping with Dip; I also love the nostalgia-inducing Steamboat Willie poster, and the bizarre, more elongated original design for Donald on the Wise Little Hen poster.

The Dumbo poster is so cute! There's already eighteen Dumbo posters up for auction on Ebay.

I look forward to more posters in this series.

They're all excellent, but that Tron combo one is killer. If only I had more wall space for posters.

So far the best ones are Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and The Mad Doctor. The Tron one is really only good when put together, he should have just made one poster like that. Blah blah my opinion but I think those are the ones that actually do something really good and creative and tell something of the stories. Dumbo's pretty good but not quite there with the ones I mentioned.

Oh, man, I LOVE these! The TRON ones especially, and they say the Alamo Drafthouse theater on South Lamar! I go there all the time! The Alamo Drafthouse is the main reason I like being in Austin!
