Which 2005 Disney film are you most looking forward to?

For me, I'd probably say Cars just because I love everything Pixar's done so much. The three films John Lasseter has directed are my three favorite Pixar films, and while the other two haven't been far behind at all, I'm glad to see he'll be taking a more direct, hands-on approach with this film. I'm looking forward to seeing a teaser or perhaps a trailer by this fall.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe has a great deal of potential, but I'm not sure if it's the story or simply nostalgia that makes me fond of the '80s BBC miniseries. This should be interesting, in any event, and if I remember correctly, it shouldn't be filled to the brim with boring action sequences like the Lord of the Rings movies. Instead, it should have the clever fantasy that worked well in the LOTR films. I think.

I have hopes for Chicken Little based on its premise, teaser, and voice cast. Though this doesn't appear to be Pixar quality on the surface, I'm sure Disney has the ability to make a good CGI film. And of course, it's worth judging on its merits, not on its technology.

Being a big Tim Allen fan, I'm quite looking forward to The Shaggy Dog. Though I fear this will be a sleek remake, kind of like Freaky Friday was, I'm still holding hope that it could be funny. The Freaky Friday remake wasn't bad, so even if it can't match what I imagine is the charm of the originals, I hope it would still be good.

Herbie: Fully Loaded sounds cool not based on anything about the new movie, but just because it's revitalizing a franchise that I've just become introduced to in the last year and mostly acquainted with in the last two months. The Herbie films have never been outstanding works of art, but they're not without their charm, and I think there's an element of interest anytime a popular franchise is revisited.

I have lost alot of hope in Disney so I am going with Pixar who has never made a bad movie or even anything close to bad.

Diehard Narnian here, so I have to go with LWW. I need to reread the books, and finish -- never finished book 6 or started 7. But yeah, they're less action and more character (though it does have action here and there when needed, as I recall.)

Cars is gonna rock, too, as usual. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pixar = Movie God. They are the only studio in history that can claim that their entire library is classsic level and absolutely dud free. And John Lassater is back in the director's chair again, too, which makes it very promising. Can't wait for that.

The others sound interesting, but nothing really jumps out at me yet. Those are the two biggies, though Chicken Little could be good. The trailer is amusing, but I'm still a bit skeptical that ths is the first of a long line of Disney features that try to "answer" Shrek, and I'm not sure how well they'll be able to do with something trying to copy another studio as opposed to charting their own course and being innovative leaders as is the studio's rich history. But we'll see.

I hope the remake is better then the original also Tim Allen rocks to be the starting role of the film.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe because the books were so good and the BBC production wasnt.

It's got to be The Lion, The Witch, & the Wardrobe. I've been a fan of the Narnia books since I was in elementary school!

Of course, I am interested in seeing all of them!

The Herbie movie sounds intersting -- like you said Luke, reviving a decades old franchie is bound to be interesting.

I'm definitely going to say The Lion Witch and Wardrobe. Cars will be a close second. I refuse to see any Disney animated movie other than a Pixar film until Eisner is replaced, so I won't see Chicken Little.

LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE ALL THE WAY!! Those books are my favorite books ever and this one in particular is the best to me!! This movie is going to be amazing im sure, this masterpiece book and Disney making is going to be GREAT!! Also looking forward to Chicken Little too, looks too cute!

I voted LWW. I can't wait to see how Disney/Walden and Adamson do this film. It seems easier than Harry Potter yet different in ways. I wonder how they will expand the territory with more dialogue and fabulous sets. I just hope the end battle wont be over 20 minutes long! Oh ya, and that the CGI will look realistic and they won't use it too much (same style as HP3).

I know Cars will be good, especially with Lasseter back in the director's chair. Not so sure about Chicken Little, as it's the start of something totally different for Disney. I like how the graphics are cartoony, yet I think it the CGi could've been done to a better degree (less plasticy feel).

I've barely seen any Disney live-actions pre-80s so I can't really judge those others. Tim Allen should be funny, and transformation just screams CGI. I alos think Lohan is starting to get old fast. She's being used in some many projects in such little time, her performances will dull out and just blend too much together. Again, too bad Disney can't come up with anything new in recent years, but simply rejuvenating old (Herbie)and copying new (Shrek=CL) franchises. O well.

I voted for Chicken Little because the its such a fun story and the plot seems interesting to see turn into a full lenght film. Also, it looks pretty good based on the few art I've seen. I haven't gotten any DVDs with the trailer yet, but I hope to soon.

LLW looks interesting too. I've only seen the old BBC cartoon version about a million times. We taped it when we first got the Disney channel before all the Zoog stuff came and when SHelly Duval's show was still on and there were practically no commercials. I've never read the books, but I hope to someday.

The BBC production of LWW I have seen wasnt a cartoon.

It was live action of four or five of the seven books.

I'm gonna say Chicken Little.. although that is more curiosity than anticipation. I wanna see if their CG films will be good. CL looks ok, nothing more nothing less.

I am looking foward to The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe the most. It should be interesting to see how Disney decides to tackle it as opposed to the the BBC version, which I enjoyed. THe other remakes I don't think will be any good and you should stick to the original.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for this one and can't wait 'till we get a trailer! I'm a huge Narnia fan and have been following the project's development long before it fell in the hands of Disney. I'm a HUGE Narnia fan, and have read all 7 of the books more times than I can remember. As for which Narnia film I'm most anticipating... definitely The Last Battle! I can't wait to see how Disney/Walden handles this series, though I am a little worried.
