The "Down" shot was in the latest b3ta contest, The Dark Side of Disney. Needless to say, NSFW or if you have an unbreakable faith in Disney

Half-joking, half-serious. I think the "It Gets Better" campaign is fantastic and can be applied to everybody, not just the LGBT community. And this picture better not spark a discussion on whether or not Dumbo is gay.

I wouldn't give a whit if Dumbo was gay, but I think this picture is suitable in another way. For a while, I've seen "Dumbo" as a parable for the disabled and how they are capable of better things than people assume. I think "It Gets Better" can apply here as well.monorail91 wrote:<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/43400093@N04/6141728295/" title="Dumbo - It Gets Better by monorail91, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6156/614 ... 1c3612.jpg" width="500" height="390" alt="Dumbo - It Gets Better"></a>

Agreed. It may seem odd, but I occasionally view Dumbo as a social parable/Aesop of sorts.BwayJ wrote:I wouldn't give a whit if Dumbo was gay, but I think this picture is suitable in another way.
