Peace and Freedom

Post by Maerj »

My fellow board members,

I love peace. I love freedom. I love the freedom to have peace and the peace of mind about having freedoms. I hope that you all feel free to feel the same about Peace & Freedom. Feel free to post about your feeling concerning freedom and feel peaceful in posting about your many freedoms. *

Thank you Gus! You truely are a great friend as well. For the longest time the only 3 people I had to talk to was the Beastie Boys posters on my wall, but now that I met you, I have 4 people that I can talk to.

Well, we have neither of those things in this world.

Peace would imply the absence of war, but war is a big business these days.

And freedom would imply free will and choice, of which we have none.

Nice ideals though.

Well, I remember the good old days when we did have peace and freedom long ago... sure there was an occaisonal free Condom Ad and it may have been difficult to navigate but we had peace and freedom.

Peace has not exisited in 1000s of years, and did we ever truly have freedom?

I truly believe that freedom is an illusion, in the extent that we are only free to do as we are told.

It okay, your attitude. You don't remember the "Condom Board" days like we do. Only then did the world ever experience true Peace and Freedom. If even only for a short while...
