The boy said that about Tangled (which is a movie, not a show). So Disney changed the name to Tangled...for nothing. It had no bearing on the popularity of the film with boys. It would have made the same audiences with the name Rapunzel. Huh. Go figure.

Hmmm I don't think the name change had any effect... but I do think their marketing and making Flynn more of main character also did have some effect. When I got to events dressed as Flynn, oddly enough there are always boys who are excited to see Flynn (sure, Rapunzel too). They love the movie and always mention Pascal and Maximus. Then, there are the kids who refer to Rapunzel herself as "Tangled"...... *gags*

Better Princess Tangled than Princess Rinse n' Spit (a name given to an infamous My Little Pony knock off with a wide open mouth bearing teeth. :P)

I'd like to see Maxius with a mate and kids in the short. Anyone else? :)

I might be able to handle that... but I really hope Rapunzel and Flynn don't have children. They always do that in the terrible sequels. I'd prefer them to just get married and be done with it unless they decide to make a legitimate sequel.

Yes. Did the kid say it about Tangled, which is a movie, not a show, but he called it a show anyway?

This is the strangest comment I've ever seen you make, and you know that's saying something.

You honestly think that a FOUR YEAR OLD really cares to differentiate between a "show" and a "movie"? What are you, some film-natzi for children?

No, I am trying to make sure that ajmrowland is absolutely certain the kid was talking about Tangled, when the boy said the word "show".

I say we track down the little ankle biter and run some focus groups on him, asking him if he understands the differences between shows and movies and if the title "Tangled" would have made him more or less likely to see the movie. It's the only way we'll ever know.

I think we should just beat the fucking kid up. Brats need beatings.

Beatings and focus groups are the only reasons for couples to reproduce in the first place.

I think Snow White already fits that category... :P

I know you're joking, but why always the extreme? There's slender, healthy, or chubby, not just anorexic vs. obese.

Rapunzel's tower is already there at Disneyland. They're building the town square of Corona.
