Aww, I lurk after not lurking in a few weeks... I recently moved (I'll be going to grad school), and I just don't have as much free time anymore. :( But I do lurk sometimes, but it's hard to catch up on long threads, you know?

I always liked Prudence...
You kept us up to date on animated feature gossip and news. That was always appreciated!!

OMG!!! So, I kinda know this Tangela guy...

Not in real life, of course, but through IMDB. Yes, I considered him a friend back then. This was between 2006 and 2008. He was really nice and intelligent. He even told me about his tiff with UD and Luke when I suggested he join the site since he was a Disney and animation fan, but he painted Luke as a horrible person who betrayed him (I didn't believe it). Anyway, he became really weird and I think he was borderline racist. He was crazy obsessed with The Rescuers and cheap animated movies. He detested Disney's version of various fairy tales even though he was always on Disney related sites. We stopped being friends in 2008 when he became obsessive, offensive and literally hated me because I was in college and had never had a job. Seriously.

Thank you guys for bringing him up because for the past few years, I sometimes wonder what I ever did to the guy. I'm glad it wasn't my fault! He was just really crazy and maybe has some form of OCD.

Hmm, I was thinking I'd seen some of Tangela's posts, but I guess i was thinking of Teede (is that the right one?)

She kept insisting that someone was writing a sequel to The Great Mouse Detective, and it was going to be picked up by Disney, etc. :brick:

I thought deathiemouse was the one obsessed with the TGMD sequel? Wasn't that the same person who wrote a 90-page essay on the horridness of Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, including points on how Forte was a pedophile in disguise?

Some clarification:

-Teede was the one who was obsessed with The Great Mouse Detective II (and plotted we all go over to Toon Studios disguised in trenchcoats). I believe she also started posting stuff about a weird planet...

-deathiemouse is/was a mod who will probably be most remembered for explaining technical things in immense detail.

-Skullfarmer was the guy who hated Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas to death. The rant is right here: http://www.dvdizzy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6685

Those were definitely the good old days.

I especially miss MickeyMousePal and Jack.

I miss everybody who is gone, really. Even the ones who are the bane of the forum in the moment are fun in retrospect.

Nobody has mentioned Akhenaten yet. I liked him. He was the greatest Pocahontas devotee I can remember. I suppose he's too busy with animation now to hang around here any longer.

Ahw, never knew I'd made enough of an impact to be remembered ^^
I still read the forums daily, just don't feel the urge to respond... maybe I should. Thanks for mentioning me :)

I greatly miss Escapay. His sense of humour, DW-info and general presence really added something to this place.

I think he will be back. He left in June for vacation. So I think it will be a matter of time before he comes back from what ever irl issue he has to take care of.

Oh and I remember you too.

I like akhenaten too very much! :) Don't know whether he ever finished his short film, Halibu and the Dragon Princess.

I don't post nearly as much as I did a few years ago (I think I even have the same sig/avatar since '07), but I do remember coming here and knowing more people.
It's a surprise to me that Amy doesn't post here anymore, glad to see she lurks as I do. She's always been the nicest.
I do vaguely remember something about Tangela.
Arielsprince come to mind very quickly. I loved fighting with that guy.
Isidour was also very nice.
I think a lot of these members being mentioned will be back, though.

I miss Scarred4Life.

I suddenly realized I haven't seen her on the forums anymore for the past couple of months. I wonder why she stopped dropping by.

^ How funny! They day I decide to come back this is posted. But in answer to your question, I've been really, really busy for the past couple of months. (I've had a hard semester, and my job has been keeping me busy) But I think I'll be around a lot more now, I've missed UD!
